Beas Kund Speed Hike

- This video is all about an easy paced day hike to the Beas Kund (3700 m) situated in Himachal Pradesh. One needs to drive all the way to Dhundhi bridge and then take a smaller road to reach the starting point of the trail.
.
The road is under construction and the road network keeps on building up there. I am sharing the GPS coordinates 32.35204, 77.12970 of a point till where you can easily take any motor vehicle. You can keep following the same unpaved road until you see big rocks which can be crossed only by foot, that point would become your trek starting point.
.
Beas kund is indeed a really good day hike near Manali and can be done by fit individuals in a day. There is no need to carry those heavy backpacks and acclimatization is not going to be an issue on this hike. However, choose the right month to go to Beas kund as the boulder field makes the trek injury prone in winters.

Gorgeous location - you present soo well - Great video - I know I’m stating the obvious, but imagine taking some drone shots - wow - next level ( no doubts you got that planned ! - you have the making of great channel - SUB 👍🏼
Thank you. Glad you liked the content. 🙂 I feel drone shots are less real and more cinematic. Further, I don't have that kind of financial budget as of now. 🙂
I want behind the scenes to see how much efforts it take to shoot while trekking.

Btw amazing hike Manav Bhaiya keep going 🎉
Shepherds are indeed very skilled and experienced. They spend so many months crossing these beautiful landscapes. 🙂
Views are too good but believe me there are a lot of drawbacks of living in these areas.
I agree. Life is really tough there.
❤️❤️

Nice Trekk Bhaiyya

Thank you Asif bhai for all the support to the channel. I will most probably do Friendship peak this year.
@@Creedaz love uh bro❤ nd best of luck✊ god bless uh😇
Thanks man 🙂
Excellent video and what a lovely place. I'd like to do it with my daughter who is going to be 11. She has done Har Ki Dun. Please let me know in which time of the year did you go? Also if we have to camp somewhere, which place would that be? Do they allow you to camp on the trail?
I had gone in first week of June 2021. You can find ample space in the meadows near the lake but monsoons is not a preferable time to go to this lake. I would suggest Spetember as a preferred month. Always check the weather forecast before you proceed.
11:45 this must be moving time. Sometimes garmin auto-detects that person is static/not-moving. You'll see "elapsed time" in garmin connect app.
Btw, can link garmin to strava account. Then garmin will auto-push/ auto-sync to strava.
7 hr 45 min was also my total elapsed time. I always note the starting and ending time of my trek.
I started at 07:15 am and ended the hike by 03:00 pm.
I mostly do spees hikes so I stop only to set my tripod and to have food. No rest points and no rest points.
@@Creedaz toh phir discrepancy rahi hi nahi, watchTime==self-notedTime 😀
actually you said "it must be much much more" @ 11:45, I guessed it was wrt trek- time
That was wrong English.
I meant that I could have done it in less than 7 hr 45 mins because a lot of time is invested in going ahead, then setting up the tripod, coming back and walk and then go again to collect the tripod. Haah
Almost. Maybe 15 mins here and there but not more.
One day you have millions subscribe 🙂
.
(If you continue this camera setup)
Thank you
which camera do you use?? The resolution is very good
Oneplus7t
@@Creedaz Do you also apply any post processing?
Nope. I rarely do colour correction. I just adjust the light while recording.
Hi Manav, heard you collaborated with Peter. How's your experience, so far? Btw, nice work man. Keep going!
Got the opportunity to hike with him. Had fun. It was not like a formal collaboration and more of a casual hangout. 😊
@@Creedaz wish you could have documented it. But nevertheless good work man. Any chance of exploring dhauladhar in kangra or chamba velley?
Will document future hikes. The trail that we did has already been documented by me on the channel.
Wow! You completed trek in 7 hours.. Which month is it?
June
Thanks buddy ! I do have done solo for Hampta pass two days back ! I was planning to do one day hike for Beas, but I was in Dilema whether I need to carry just only sleeping bag and tent If it takes more than a day ! And can u let me know at which place does the public transport stops ? If it’s Solang I guess I cannot complete in one day !
You can stop at Dhundhi bridge. That's near the starting point of Beas kund trail. However, please have a look at the weather forecast and choose a clear day to hike to Beas kund. The boulder section can become slippery during rain and the water crossings also become little tricky. Further, you hardly get to see any views of the weather is not clear.
@@Creedaz There might be a chance of rain tomorrow it seems ! Will see how it goes !! And thanks for the info ! Have a peaceful life !!
You're welcome bhai
bhai dunya bhar k nazare to aap le rhye ho
😊😊
Which month you travelled to this beautiful place ??
September
I think you should add total trek length which might help
Will do
In the whole video, I havnt seen any other tourist.😂😂
🙂🙂
Bro one question, it's just a guess but did you study in Ryan international? 4:42 cause I guess I recognise these socks!!!
No bro. I just picked a random pair of socks kept at home. Haha
How do we know where to start trek from? Is it easy to find? The route shown in Google maps is it the same way you went?
Yes, it is the same way that I went.
When was this trek done?...
7th June 2021
@@Creedaz that's gr8
👍
Brother, is it easy or moderate trek ?
Fit individuals - Easy
Not so fit - Moderate
konse month me kiya he ye ? Date pls
Watch it carefully. Tha date is mentioned in the video
Bhai video kb ki hai
Video k shuru me aati h date 🙂
Please mention the month in which you were trekking
June
U have gone this month right,, That is June
Yes
How do you found ways/trails in any trek?
These are well known hikes. And there are trails on Open Street Maps.
What time of the year wad this?
June
In which month you did this trek ?
June
मैं यहां 1986 में विश्वविद्यालय की तरफ से गया था
Wow
Do we require any permission or permit for trek?
Nope
@@Creedaz Can we camp at night, any wildlife animals?
Please include background music .It will give a better feel and bind the viewers to the video.
I love the silence of nature. Putting music background kills that feeling for me
@@Creedaz Yeah, I too feel the same. The trickling sound of waterfalls and rivers, birds chirping in the background, the sound of your footsteps make your vlogs so special 😊😊😊
Thanks man 😊
kaisa hai bhai
All well
Bro, hme b tumhare saath chlna h😀
Sure
Can we trek on December there?
Nope
do you have this route saved/mapped on strava
You can find the trail on all offline navigation apps like Maps.me, Mapy.cz, OsmAnd
@@Creedaz thanks man
Is mid may a good time?
Yes
Great...thanks
One more thing...can you name the brand of shoe appropriate for the trek
