- It's extremely rare that I do stock removal knives but in this case, the customer wanted a very thick knife for chopping and batoning.

Nicely done thank you for not pickle finish the metal. The handle is super with all the pins lining up seamlessly. The wood finish is excellent sheath leather perfect what a great knife.

Nice build, but I don't think that hollow grind is the ideal for a heavy duty, chopping knife

no chance of breaking that tang batoning!! i'm used to sweat fitting the guard on myself but that works!
I need the same!! Your work is amazing!!😍 Witch metal do you use for this knife? At 5:50 why don't you temper it directly? For me if you want a solid iron, you want to temper it when it's red cherry (but I'm a beginner).
