Indeed, moto robberies are a everyday occurence in south American countries.There are plenty of vids on it and I've been watching it on YT for many years,so cops there are always on the lookout for sus bikes,especially with no tags. 2 guys on a moto is a red flag in those parts.

It’s Brazil, there’s a lot more gun violence there so the police tend to act that way off rip.
That’s how it is in Brazil man, if you’re riding around on a brand new bike without a plate it’s a huge red flag as motorcycle theft is a huge issue. Along with the fact that a lot of armed robbers use motorcycles as their primary form of transportation so seeing a group of three dudes riding around and one of which has a bike without a plate makes it look suspicious.
