Hi Tara a beautiful cover of one of the most famous Christmas classics. I am sure you will enjoy Christmas in Ireland. Of course this year will be different but as always people will find ways to make Christmas more special this year. For us Christmas eve mass it just a wonderful occasion for everyone. Most churches have mass early in the evening for children. The children are the centre piece of the mass and act out the Christmas story. This year in most churches that will not be possible which is a shame as everyone always loves it but I'm sure it still will be special for the children. A very beautiful cover version of Happy X-mas, also one of my favorites. In Denmark we celebrate Christmas as in Ireland and Canada, i.e. we enjoy the holidays with our family and dear ones, having great food and wine. The Christmas food are often homemade starting 2-3 weeks before Christmas baking cookies and cakes. A cozy and relaxed spirit of Christmas unfolds in that moment. Most families go to church on the 24th in the afternoon. However the big difference is that after we sing and dance around the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve, we get the presents right afterwards and you get the presents on the 25th. Our Santa Claus comes from Greenland and he is fast. Christmas spirit is many things among others like going to Tivoli in Copenhagen with all the lights and nice food from the Chritmas market. Next time you go to Copenhagen don´t miss "The crazy Christmas Cabaret" in Tivoli - a wonderful show with so many funny and still good singers with a crazy new story every year.
