Great video! Thanks for your time and effort. I plan to get more into your school videos when things slow down this winter. +1 for more Superior Drummer videos.
How many snares are available in total in this SDX? I noticed Toontrack is recording less and less snares for their new releases and often one kit comes with only one snare. Is this so with Stories?
Oh okay. So this released last month. Well, I'm glad I found this today. It's on my shortlist (although I probably will buy SP3 with Fields of Rock and Death & Darkness). All SDXs since The Rock Foundy are great though. The question is who's an 8 and who's a 10 for you. Or in American ratings: which one is four and which one five stars? If you're more into "pop", there's this one, Stockholm, this, Hansa and Hitmaker. For more Rock than Metal there;'s Foundry, Decades, Legacy & Fields. For more Metal than Rock there's D&D & 33.
I don't want to influence anyone's purchase. Some observations are this though. Area 33 is enormous. And though it's marketed for metal, a ton of the tones are really natural sounding. Hit Maker is very diverse. Stories is enormous and diverse. Haven't used Hansa much yet myself, but a lot of people stand by it. Metal Foundry is old, so some people steer clear. I think it's still great.
Does anyone know if Ezdrummer3 auto selects the release time for compressor setting based on the DAW'S tempo. If so great, but if not, does anyone know how to turn the release percentages into ms.

Great! I've been trying to do a little SD here and there, so when SD4 comes out hopefully I have a little following.
Center, rim shot and rim only. Thats pretty cool!
Also, really good sounding kits!
