How to Turn On or Off Closed Captions on Xbox Series X|S (Subtitles Tutorial)

To turn on or off closed captions on Xbox Series X|S, follow these steps:
Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
Go to Profile & system - Settings - Accessibility - Captioning.
On this screen, you see three options:
Captioning off
On using default style: Select this option to turn closed captioning on using the default system style.
On using custom style: Select this option to turn closed captioning on using a custom style that you configure.
You can customize the appearance of your captions by selecting the On using custom style option and using the following options:
Caption color: Change the color of the text.
Caption transparency: Change whether you can partly see through the text.
Caption size: Make the text larger or smaller.
Caption style: Change the font style of the caption.
Caption effects: Change or remove text effects.
Background color: Change the color of the background behind the caption.
Background transparency: Change whether you can see through the background.
Window color: Change the color of the border around the background.
Window transparency: Change whether you can see through the background border.
