I love it the Chevy Silverado trail boss lock nice . wish met at the Fox racing shox the light valve that the Ford raptor has for 2019."all so the Chevy Silverado lock more nice thin the 2019 GMC Sierra"I think GM should just get rid of GMC and focus on making Chevys and put more money into their Chevrolet to have more fancier in bed or trucks.
Thanks Jimmy we love The Trail Boss too! About GMC I wanted to say that there are way too many GMC stand along dealerships for GM to even consider closing up shop on GMC. Plus DENALI is the fastest growing sub brand in GM accounting for huge conquest numbers for them so the Chevy and GMC truck/suv strategy has and is working very well for them as a company.
Torn between the Trail Boss and the RST.🤔
Hey Brian! Tough choices indeed. If your considering the 2LT Leather Trail Boss vs the RST I'd suggest going with the Trail Boss for resell, cheers!

Good point, as the trail boss seems to be the hot ticket in the trim line up.I just wish they E-coated the frames on the Silverado like they do on the Ram and F-150.We need state of the art corrosion protection here in snow country where they salt the roads. The wax coating on the Silverado ain’t gonna cut it for very long.
I'm in Alberta we use salt on our roads for 6+ months of the year and I've got fleet trucks with 206,000kms on them and they are not rusty (flaking) nor is the body rusty at all. In fact I have a pre owned 2015 Ram 2500 and the frame is honestly NO DIFFERENT than the pre owned 2015 Sierra parked next to it on our used lot. I wouldn't be concerned about the coating differences. If you want an extra layer of protection either your dealer or a supplier near you will be able to do www.waxoyl-usa.com/

Don’t know what kind of mix they use in Canada, but the stuff they use here raises hell with metal. Some mixes include a rust inhibitor, which some states, like Colorado use in their mix. It’s costly, so it’s not used in many states.
We need all the help we can get, so state of the art E-coating from the factory is a must for me.
I know that the mix is 50/50 sand and pure road salt. If its -19 Celsius or warmer they snow on the roads are melting, Canada apparently uses more road salt than anywhere else in the world and causes roughly $200 worth of damage per year to each automobile. Unfortunately road salt is not good for the roads, automobiles or the environment but it keeps the road less slick and safer. I bet if we all weren't in such a hurray we wouldn't need it as much if we reduced the speeds on our roads and highways but that will never happen. So I'd go back to my previous statement we see them here with high mileage and they hold up great in Canada. 10 year and older Chevy Silverado 1500 Trucks have the highest resell in North America for a reason.
