- Rocking the fresh head installed in the previous video, we finally get to see how much more power the Toda camshafts produce. Running on a load-bearing Mustang dyno, the results are 17% underrated from actual numbers. Thus the cams gave the 4age a 17% power increase over stock!

Stiff rear axle - damn difficult to do any alignment. I think its rust the rim being a bit not round.

If you're parking or moving a car without power steering, making the car move forward or backward, even slightly, it will significantly reduce the steering effort.

17% difference? I'm gonna have to dyno on a DynoJet now and see for myself... all my research showed a 12% difference from a Mustang Dyno to a DynoJet. I hope you're right, cause that means I'm putting out more power than I had originally thought ;-)
I think you’ll find it’s much closer to 150hp than the 170+ “oh these dyno’s read inaccurate” hp, had one with similar mods on a hub dyno and didn’t event hit 150
Mustang dynos actually do this. But i don't think the power difference at this level of power is that big, i'd say it's more around 165. "Similar" mods does not equal same mods, nor the maintenance on the engine matches.

surprised you did not get the head ported while you had it in for refurbishing, it can do allot
151.9 whp is 184 flywheel hp wich is about right for a 4age blacktop with those mods. A stock one makes 130whp even less
mine makes 149whp stock.

From your experience would you say a Platinum Sprint ECU would be suitable for a 7AGE?
you probably forgot the bolt. and it's not an accessory belt. that's the drive/serpentine belt. an accessory belt would be for power steering or A/C.
It depends on the engine, some engines have only 2 some have 3. Most have 2 iirc, that includes driving a/c, water etc

Dip in top end looks like fuel cutoff to me, i think this AE86 is running stock fuel. Either that or exhaust/intake restriction (maybe on the heads?) Remember he may have fancy headers but that exhaust looked pretty thin to me

Stock bottom end? HIgher compression would do wonders with those cams.

how dailyable is the AE86 (in terms of droning and such)? and is it easier to find AE86s or GTS/SR5 Hatches in the West coast than the East coast?

Depends on the person, mine is no a/c, no ps and I live in Florida. I've been dailying mine for almost 2 years. When it comes to finding corolla good luck cause they're either rust buckets or priced like a used frs.
Celica Supra MK2 may be a cheaper alternative, considering it's a little bit less of a meme car.
I prefer the AE86 because it is st*pid light while the Celica Supra isn't exactly that light

The 16v actually has more potential, though making less power originally. There’s always pros and cons, the 16v or 20v debate is old.

infamousjuan there is no group a 20v 4age. It's not real. The closest thing was the formula Atlantic 16v 4age making 240hp. Initial d can get stuff wrong. Both 20v and 16v is great tho
