I hope they stay put at #4 and draft Marvin Harrison Jr. Than I would love Monty to be aggressive and trade the second first round pick down to #12 or #14 and get a top Pass rusher or CB. May be even DT Byron Murphy. Another idea would be to use later round picks and move from #35 to get a third 1st round pick to get a second WR at the end of the first round.

Monti already knows he got screwed in last years trade down. we all thought monti fleeced them turns out it was the other way around we got the 12th pick and a glorified 2nd rounder in this draft while the texans went to the playoffs why monti helped make them better never mind that he is the cards gm.

I’d love to see cards trade with Vikings get 3 st and trade up with chargers give up 3rd round. Draft MHJ and then Mitchell and finish with Chop or Arnold. Set up our WR dangerously and if Vikings do bad with rookie we get that first and can rinse repeat till Monti creates a Dynasty
I don’t think Cardinals trading back. If they want to prepare for the future, assuming Kyler won’t play for long, they’ll draft a QB. If they wanna win now with Kyler, they’ll get him the best possible weapon like Marvin Harrison Jr

I think you’re projecting your desire onto these visits lol, they’re simply doing their due diligence and having visits with each of these players dude. Odds are on. They are trading this pic to the Vikings.. the best draft for Arizona in round one would be Q. Mitchell at 11, J. Verse at 23, and.J. Newton at 27 if you want to add their second round, pick into this mix, the best selection there would beX. Legit at 35 would really round out a nearly perfect draft for Arizona. Our round three pics should include another wide receiver, probably Brendan Rice, another cornerback, hopefully, Max Melton, and an interior offense of lineman of your choice..
Monti has had two lackluster free agencies and the Texans are on their second year and are about to go on a huge run. that's how you build a team not this conservative bullshit, Diggs went for a 2nd not this year next year! I am going to push back a little here. This is Nick Caserio's fourth year as the GM of the Texans. He spent the first 2 years going 4-13 and 3-13-1 and he had one and done two head coaches. He tore down the old roster and spent 3 years laying the foundation of what they have through the draft and struck gold last year with DeMeco and Stroud. Due to their solid drafting the last 3 years they are able to be more aggressive and make splashier moves. but it did take them a while to get to where they are now.
Replying to cards fan 98. The rams turned their franchise around when they moved to LA. They had one down year in 2016 and jumped to 11-5 in 2017 and been competitive since. Like the cardinals, they sucked for years before that. So it can be done. I agree with the guy above you. We haven’t showed the least bit of desire to be competitive this offseason. Monti cooking another tanking season for draft capital. Something the fans don’t want. Before you know it. We are gonna be looking for another quarterback, head coach and possibly a GM. It’s history repeating itself. It’s a broken record playing a song I can’t stand. It starts at the top. Until Bidwill sells the team, don’t expect much.

@@BG4life13 The progress I am seeing is that we actually have a GM that understands where this roster is and is doing a proper rebuild which is something us fans haven't seen in a long time or ever. Our last GM was in a win now mode every year, so when we sucked it was because he was bad at his job. In Monti's opening presser he said that he wanted to be a draft and develop team. That brings a longer rebuild but if done properly will be more sustainable than building through free agency. I will also tell fans to get used to this, free agency with MO is a starter here and there but mostly depth and rotational pieces.
I also never said to not take MHJ, however, MHJ will not make us an above 500 team this year either. So if we get offered the SF package (3 1st, day 2 pick or a solid player) then I wouldn't hate it (if he gets anything less than that then i will start to question him). If we trade back, don't be mad at Monti, be mad at Bidwell for keeping Kiem for so long that left holes at every position outside of QB 1, TE 1 and SS (I would add FS here but not sure how much longer we got with Buda).
As far as Monti not being the first pick of GMs. Last I checked, he didn't even get a job this year either. Plus this is Bidwell we are talking about, so who is to say the fall back option isn't better than his first one.
Trade the 4th pick and Kyler to the Vikings for their 11 and 23 picks and JJ. Then trade the 23 and 27 pick to get back to 5-6 pick and get a top WR. Boom instant offense

Dude hasn’t earned that phrase yet my guy. What has he proven? Our record is going to be similar to last season. Unless Monti, is the greatest mind in football. The signings this off-season. And the approach to this draft. Doesn’t scream “I want to win”. It works out for bidwill though. It’s the cheap low budget approach. I just don’t buy it, because there are great GM’s in this league. With winning franchises. And they do the opposite. Is it possible Monti is the greatest GM mind in football. Yes. Is it probable…. No.
