Yeah but lots of people think they are gate keepers lol. Idk where yall are from but here in North Carolina the gate keepers are at hobby town usa. Its their employees. Everyone I've talked to tells me why my rc is crap and this and that wont work

I have the same MGT, bought it new and is still my favorite, definitely over my Xmaxx.
That carburetor low end is way to rich, it keeps loading up and dyeing.

I have never seen a nitro engine so ragged out in my life. Btw that engine seems really good. It’s so much power. It’s so rich or it’s ragged out. How much is that rc it look really good. That’s one dam tough rc

Absolutely love the video can't believe the epoxy holds and the engine runs . You all are awesome I am subscribed to all your channels . This video is proof the associated MGT / thunder tiger mta4 is the toughest box stock nitro truck ever built . Own all the big name 1/8 mosters from when nitro was the way . Beat them all and the mgt is the only one I never broke . Not for trying my engine has a smashed head and all. I've got so many gallons of fuel through it I've lost count. RC is always all about the smiles . 😁😁😁 Stay cool all

Cheer's lads I have not laughed so much in ages as you by the sound's of things. I never thought it would have worked, although with J B Weld I repaired a Mini gearbox and it held for a long time, there is no way it should have worked.
I know why Stemps truck stays together even after big hit's on the corners and wheels, there is so much play in the C Hubs wheel bearing's and hinge pin's again thanks for the laugh.

I have a thunder tiger EK4 with the .50 helicopter motor that I got off a friend who stopped driving. I never got it to run right. I mostly just use it as a decoration and run my brushless trucks. When I want nitro I use my T maxxes
I'd have glued it back on with Epoxy! A few days of drying and it should be pretty solid! That glue worked pretty good all considering!

I love my nitro T-Maxx 27. So much fun...... I think he needs a new glow plug. It dies to much.

I have 4092 1600KV ( no name $45) on a 200A ( red brick esc $45) for air/plane
550 motor mount ($1) (18T-22T pinon) $7..I got the truck for only $150...almost new....it has big joe on 23MM hex ( beefie CVD)..4.25 ..wide....
The truck is total 2" wider... IT's Hella FAST with wazzoo of Torque ( over power)
on 6S...it's has plenty on 4s 50C..It'll do back flip from a stand still.
Bruhless motor has more torque..than nitro....you need to gear it up to tame it
with taller gears...It'll do over 50 mph...but it's a big ass 15lb truck....
That's what's cool about 2 speed....so you'll still have the low in...for nitro.
You just have to ream the center slot of the motor mount..to clear shaft.
Slot one of the hole..to allow the motor to pivot...to adjust gear mesh....
Run a Y harness for the Brake and ESC.....
Hence the Red brick...for only $45.The motor dosnt have to spend in reverse.
The reverse is activate via the aux...as usual...
The disc brakes...are still on.... it's not as hard on the differental.
You can use a regular car esc...it dosnt matter if the motor spins in reverse.
but a 150A esc will cost $85-$150....
The nitro just make alot of noise and dosnt really move the truck...
Brushless/lipo..You just need to know what to do without breaking the bank.
Such as not paying $30 for a piece of aluminum ( motor mount.lmao)
The engineer in me loves this! If it works it works! That’s all that matters!

Does anyone know what available parts will work with a team associated MGT 4.60 se. The truck and parts were discontinued but I love my truck. And i noticed the frame, bumpers, servo/engine/trans placement, and shocks all match with this truck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
First time in my life i see an nitro engine cut in half and run again. Keep these videos please and who cares if rc's brake or not, if you don't brake your rc that means you don't pleased your rc.

There is no perfect setting for every situation, you gotta tune it based on altitude and even temperature

Tape those tires, the additional rotational mass will also help it flip better. You'll be pulling off doubles with ease.

mine to is a wltoys shortcourse i drove in water and it kill the servo
My servo just locked up at full throttle probably because of dirt. And it crashed into the wall the front axle got destroyed
At first I tried to tip it over but I crashed instead
