@@KingDarkHacks dudes def not right lol people need to just git gud. nothing will mold you into being a better looper than a lot of hours on solo que. You can only rely on your own skill, you can’t be carried by good players on comms, and it’s one survivor making plays based on good decision making and in some cases educated guesses. Winning the match isn’t exactly in your control, but making the killer miserable in long chases still is in your full control. Being able to keep the killer in one area as long as possible so your trash team mates aren’t scared off the gens is ideally how it should be done. Abusing shack or strong loops using as many vaults as possible before throwing the pallet etc. it’s the small wins that matter in solo like making the killer leave you in chase

@@tj9287 pandering to "trash killer players" . So we should just pander to trash survivor players? Half the killers are terrible and have no worth in skill at alot of levels, while survivors can play any character and it's the same with whatever perks you want.
I don't understand why obvious cheaters don't just immediately get banned. Sure, wallhacks and auto-dead-hard are hard to counter, because the game client knows where everyone is and controls the timings. On the other hand, instantly standing up multiple times or exiting the level before the gates are open is just impossible. Why doesn't the server just flag them as cheaters when they do that and immediately kick/ban them?
Bigger thing is, the server shouldn't even be accepting those types of commands. If the client says I am allowed to run at 150% speed because of "reasons," the server shouldn't just accept that. In most multiplayer focused games nowadays, cheaters are obvious to humans but not to computers because the cheaters are often doing things that are physically allowed in the game. Sure, it's obvious when you see a player headshotting everyone within a 5 mile radius that it's cheating, but to a computer, that is 100% within the game's rules.
But, DBD just kinda doesn't check anything. Oh, you're running 20 perks? Ok. Oh, you're running at 200% speed for no reason? Ok. Oh, you just did 100% of the generator in 1 click with a flashlight? Ok. Oh, you got hooked and teleported to the exit gate? Ok. Oh, you're walking at 200% speed while crawling on the ground? Ok. Oh, you want to pick up and kill another survivor? Ok.
The server should be rejecting these things outright, rubberbanding them back into place if it's an issue. The server trusts the client way too much.

@@keevo9194 yup, I do. I run my own server. Do you know how servers work? Server side command validation has been discussed for online video games for well over a decade at this point. And, frankly, you don't even need full validation. Even a simple "as a survivor, you're only allowed these options" and just rejecting packets that attempt to do something like kill another survivor would go a long way. Most online games that are multi-player focused are going to take a "don't trust the client approach." Things like autoaim are hard to detect for a server. Things like using 20 perks are not. Hell, creating a short whitelist at the beginning of the match of what perks you have and auto rejecting any attempt to use more perks should take a few days of coding at most.

Now the game is far more balanced, with a slight lean to the killers (which is SUPPOSED be the power role) side. The games primary issue right now is hackers. So do everyone a favor and don't openly support something that is LITERALLY against the rules of the game and should not be a thing.

Last match. The dude dropped out of the sky and started working on the gen with me then couldn’t take any damage against Bubba at all. Weapons and such went right through him. I immediately stopped playing and am tried to sandbag and block the hacker but it didn’t work and the killer just killed me instead. Kinda bummed that happened. He didn’t realize I was trying to help. The minute I realize there’s a hacker teammate I stop playing. I’m not contributing to the problem

You can even see it in this video with the second squad. D3ad won because the survivors decided to be altruistic, but if they had left Zarina like you would in a tournament for example, D3ad would have lost. My point is, you can beat good killers playing well as a survivor.

I had a game today against this type of squad. Permanently sabotaged hooks, impossibe blinds, even doing gens fast. In end game chat, the cheater told me I just play poorly. lol

THIS incident also happened to me . When I was playing blight in midwich and at the end they held me hostage . That was my one of the saddest moment of this game.
I've been playing against a few hacker killers. Recently I couldn't wiggled out even with the meter full. Another game my windows of opportunity wasn't working.

I ran into a Quentin hacker on console just yesterday . He had a speed hack only and I sacrificed him but the rest of the team barely escaped because of my frustration dealing with the crap

Man, I haven't had any hackers in a while. The few I do run into now usually are subtle hackers that make themselves slightly slower than me.
Infinite sprint burst, instant omnidirectional flashlight blind, instant down recovery, instant heal, the guys in part one were not even mildly subtle lmao. Good job giving them a run for their money.
This is why basekit unbreakable would be a bad idea. There would be no counter.
it's Moreso that it completely removes viable tatics from killers to make a comeback. Ik this because Omen(amazing blight player) did have to slug to win a match on RPD recently.
of course,the typical response is that if we were good enough than we wouldn't need to slug but to that,you gotta ask,is It fair for a survivor to have a quick and infinite comeback Mechanic while Killers get a "mori" that only works on the stronger killers (oni,nurse,and blight) at even moderate levels of play?

These days the cheating can be so subtle, sometimes I'm not even sure whether I'm doing misplays or whether they're slightly faster or doing gens at ridiculous speeds. It sucks when you're always second guessing whether someone is cheating and where you can improve when it could just be that a survivor is cheating their way to a win.

Day before yesterday I was playing as Wesker, what happened to me was I downed one Survivor , picked him up, saw three other survivors in one generator, I turned my head to hook the survivor, and immediately I was blind stunned. Every time I was picking up a survivor and looking towards a hook I was getting stunned. It was kind of like a hook proximity stun hack. I was mad AF. These hackers need to fucking go.
In that first match, my only guess was: They're preparing early for the infinite unbreakable patch.
It would've worked too if it wasn't for that meddling Nemesis and his zombies.
Its so sad this game *STILL* Has fucking Cheater Problems.

"There aren't any hooks/I can't pick up!" The bleedout timer/slugging exists for a reason. I think people forget why it's there. If you have a flashlight/boil over tech squad that puts you in impossibly difficult hooking situations... don't hook. Slug. At least until the PtB nuke finally hits, and no one plays a low tier killer ever again.

The other day I had to deal with a squad of cheaters that could keep picking themselves up over and over again. I just had to leave them all slugged in a corner and let them bleed out cause if I tried to hook one, the other 3 would pick up and run off.
It’s hilarious how bad hackers are that cheating can’t help them win against a good player and how hard they try and win just to look like a fool who thinks they’re good.
