Agree on the new front DRLs. And I also agree on the Sportage boomerang DRLs. I wish they stayed with a simple DRL design that doesn't grow old when a new model comes out.
Most very current Hyundai/Kia designs are not gonna age well..I appreciate the boldness and uniqueness, and overall I like the look of most of the cars. But some of the clean lines like the first gen k5, stinger, ev6, etc seem to be getting too abstract. Elantra was a perfect example. They just cleaned it up a bit finally, though.
I do have mixed feelings about the new front of the EV6 as well. However, the overall design of the GT-Line is actually quite nice in my opinion. You can find a couple of videos in YT. Also like the brighter interior.
I just saw some pictures of a different color other than white, and the GT line looks a lot better. I can see where they went with this, but I still prefer the older headlights
I will have to agree with you old lights are a lot better your front end looks alot better be honest!! U had yours lowered and just used springs !!! I believe.. Is their better Dampers out there to than stock ones And do u no if i can get upgraded bushes for the wish bone even upgraded top suspension bushes to if u no I would so appreciate your links brother ❤️
I have to agree with your opinion on the front end. They went a bit too far and created something that I wouldn't want to own. The steering wheel is definitely an improvement that is needed. I have to keep my wheel at an angle that I don't like to see my speed. Lastly, I genuinely believe that the fingerprint reader will make it to the US, As others have said, it made it here in the EV9, so why not in the EV6?
Yeah my ignorance on the Ev9 led me to not know it was included in the Ev9! That's my fault. I will say I just saw pics of the GT line front and it looks better than the pics I posted in this video, which I assume to be the wind/light model. Either way, still a great car but let's see what the official Kia usa take is.
i do think the fingerprint will make it because EV9 has it and its part of the Ccnc infotainment profiling system

that new front end is pretty ugly.
Honestly I'm not sure what they were thinking, but I guess it fits the rest of their design language, like the Sportage and the K5.
