#1. Just…..wow. Trying an overtake like that while towing a trailer. She deserves to lose her licence.
And not stopping, she deserves JAIL.
dont worry she'll have got a 3 month ban and £150 fine!!
Trying an overtake like that while towing a trailer... and driving a slow old defender to boot.
And then has the nerve to leave the scene. You just know that even after prosecution and driving ban, she'll still somehow believe that it was someone else's fault.
I bet she forgot she had a trailer on the hitch......
@@allanmanley6340That would've been a dodgy overtake without the trailer, which shows just how poor her judgement must be!
2:49 I hope your little dog was ok. You should have had him/her restrained on a seat belt, that way he wouldnt have hit the windscreen
I'd noticed the dog too! Poor thing. That must have hurt!
And it's worth saying that having an unrestrained animal in a car can come with a hefty fine too, it seems that not a lot of people know this. Highway code rule 57, and gets charged as careless driving.
@@ianmason. Thank you! I thought I was the only one who knew this law. There's a hefty fine that goes with it.
#9 there’s a clue in the term “BRAKE check”, the VW didn’t brake. Pull out into the path of (possibly *too* fast) traffic in the outside lane without adequately checking their mirrors? Yes. Brake check? No.
Makes me think they were speeding and almost trying to use that as an excuse why they they got so close to them.
Perhaps its just me but I would say that I have that happen to me a few times every time I go on the motorway and watch it happen to others dozens of times. People think that as long as the person in the outside lane can slam on their brakes and avoid a collision it was OK to move out. Barely even noteworthy in the pantheon of shit UK driving.
#9 was clearly speeding, given how fast he was passing the other cars. Of course no excuse for the VW pulling out on him, but he even predicted it: "Ah no" and did nothing to mitigate. Dashcam warrior.
You were hanging around, either make the move or don’t 🤷🏻♂️
No brake check, speeding for sure, but the middle lane driving caused most of those problems.
2:51 was that an unsecured Animal in your car? Great Pet Lover!🤬
Yes and idiot drivers You don't "yield" to anyone in the UK that's a Yankie thing. Traffic on the main highway has priority and it really grinds my gears when people stop to let side traffic out!
@@petecoventry6858Ah, but think of that smug, warm feeling they get when they do, despite holding up traffic behind them.
It's fine, it was a Dachshund :)
@@Chrisp3gg 👏👏🤣
#12. "How did you pass your driving test?" Certainly demonstrated reversing competency.
exactly. no big drama really. They realised their error and reversed back competently
And looking at where the (presumably) No Entry signs are (high up, at right angles to the road) probably easy to miss and go in the wrong way. These funny little oldy worldy parking areas are fine if you know them...
Also kudos to #12 for allowing them to reverse without crowding or attempting to bully them out the way,
@@smorris12 shouldn't be driving if you can't see 2 very clear no entry road signs
#16 the fact you sent that to the police believing you're the good guy is truely shocking. I hope you and the driver of the pickup both get mandatory driver awareness courses.
100%
Yes he could have easily overtaken the Transit style pickup on a dual carriageway
Made me chuckle too. So many chances to make this a non-event.
What? You mean pulling alongside that truck to block the road and doing a series of brake checks isn't ok?
@@martinbulmer1868 it's actually perfectly fine to do.... as long as your car is fitted with a dash cam.
Rumour has it #5 is still blasting that horn
#16 - Excellent defensive driving and deselection skills. Truly top notch. I can just see the shock on your face as you confide in yourself that you did nothing wrong at all in that entire segment.
Was just thinking, when that happens to me on roundabouts, I back off to let the dumbass get away from me,
cammer is the bigger asshole
So many dashcam clips are the same; either both people at fault or at best not taking easy options to prevent an accident.
Clearly slowed down alongside the unsecure loaded truck to box the pickup in too.
Strangely enough they sent it into the police, they will hopefully end up with a ‘self reported’ driver awareness course for £150.
I can imagine the only reason they haven’t had a response is because the police are busy showing it to all their mates and laughing at how self unaware the driver is.
#5 needs to calm tf down.
#16 was looking for a bloody accident.
Watching UK dash cam videos is like drinking a relaxing cup of tea. Watching American dash cam videos is like drinking a shot of Fireball Whisky.
Have you tried the Russian ones? 🤣 like drinking ghost peppers!
All the Russian ones I see are either the slowest most avoidable love taps in history or some guy plowing his car at 200mph into a thousand cars, its insane.
Now try Australian dash cams for lessons in how to swear...
@@chrisp.2544 I watch Scotty's Dash cams - hilarious.
Clip number 9, showing three "drivers" that can't drive properly on a motorway!
With the just bad driving I was wondering if he was talking about himself as should have moved over to the inside lanes appropriately rather than just charging along in the outside, it was only when later when I saw what happened I realised he wasn’t thinking of himself 😂
@@ians2868my thought exactly. He moved over way to early 😂😂
@@laugesen18 He moved over that early so that he allows anyone in the left lane to use the middle lane to overtake. What's wrong with moving over early if no one is behind you? Also gives cars in front plenty of time to see you coming in that lane.
Yes, let’s not forget the middle lane hogger. Great example of how middle lane hogging can be dangerous.
2 White car was overtaking and considering they caught up to the next set of cars in the 5 seconds of the clip perfectly justified to stay in lane
3:53, the horn is used to make other drivers aware of danger - it's no use using it after the event has happened
#16 what a MELT I would be ashamed to send that in to the police
#7 needs to be reported, it’s illegal and very dangerous to have an unsecured dog in the car. Disgusting behaviour.
I didn't realise it was illegal. What are people charged with who do it?
It is not illegal, but if there is a RTC the driver could be charged with careless driving if the dog is injured or injures someone @@hardcoretam
@@hardcoretam Rule 57 of the highway code states: “When in a vehicle make sure dogs or other animals are suitably restrained so they cannot distract you while you are driving or injure you, or themselves if you stop quickly. A seat belt harness, pet carrier, dog cage or dog guard are ways of restraining animals in cars.
You would be charged with driving without due care and attention
@@hardcoretamFlea tipping?
@@simonlloyd74sl But if you can demonstrate you were in control of the vehicle and weren't being careless that charge won't stick. So as long as the dog sits still in the rear you won't be charged. Meaning it's not illegal in itself.
Message for roughly 80% of cammers each week: stop trying to overtake people on the inside of roundabouts
You tell them not to do it- but then Matt Does It!
Yep, and they get surprised when a driver actually wants to change lanes to exit the roundabout
Especially when the other vehicles are large with known large blind spots.
It shouldn't be hard to expect others on the road to make mistakes and adjust your own driving accordingly, but everyone is eager to race to the next set of lights for a quick power nap!
@ShaimingLong mistakes dont mean shit. That dpd van needs to wait until everyone who was using the correct lane to go round. Doubt it was a mistake anyway
Percentages not your strong point?
Kudos to the fellow at the one minute mark who let those other drivers get past that car that shouldn't have been parked there.
Why? The obstruction was on the other side of the road, and there were only 3 cars waiting. The cammer should have just kept on going.
kudos my ass... that's slowing down traffic unnecessarily!
I'm not sure the DPD driver heard you....
#9 speeding and pulling into outside lane for no reason then kicks off when you comes up behind someone very quickly that was actually trying to overtake. What a ding
Quinn, as early as 1:54 I could tell what was going to happen. You need to stay in staggered formation on roundabouts, not accelerate into a van's blind spot and stay there. Then you act all shocked when the obvious result happens.
Leave him alone. Morons are allowed on the road under Magna Carta.
@@annoyingbstard9407but did he have a Magna Carta on his roof?
#5 Another pair of helmets. The DPD driver for brake checking, and the cammer for sitting on his horn and provoking them🤷♂️. Chill people😎✌️
6:52 I don't think the white car did an awful lot wrong here, the bend in the road and parked cars would have obscured their view. They pulled out slowly and put the hazards on immediately after. Bit of a non-event.
They didnt but if you look at the wording the cammer seems to believe they were put out by the clearly indicating car up ahead wanting to come out but rather than adjust their speed for appropriate visible hazards "I was at the speed limit as you do" yeah you do, unless maybe close passing cars with loads parked up, plum. Cammer should have already slowed and would have then had no issue with the white car but you know, needs a view for their ego
@@SGTSnuggles19 "I was at the speed limit as you do". Cammer thinks slowing down is not an option.
7:32 - 7:37 Was that a slow overtake or were you blocking the other car? And at 7:42 you were still in the outside lane, still at least you knew the road was dual carriageway even though you blocked the outside overtaking lane.
4:09 Since the car didn't brake, it's impossible for that to be a brake check.
#9 I'd love to know how fast this guy was going.. seemed to be absolutely tanking along.
Yep, looked like 90+, but always the "other" guy
And it wasn't a brake-check - merely someone who changed lanes without doing sufficient observations
@@InBodWeTrust Indeed. Given the brake lights never came on once on the Golf, you would think the answer to the dash cammer's question would be pretty self explanatory...ermm, NO you weren't 'brake tested' by the Golf because the Golf driver never touched the brakes! 🤦Just a clear an obvious case of the Golf driver being a bit annoyed with the moron lane hogging in the PUG, running out of patience and deciding to overtake without checking their mirrors.
I was more surprised that the Golf driver apologised, typically you'd get the middle finger when they do something aggressive and/ore antisocial!
I wasn’t speeding m’lord. Everyone else was driving at 50 on the motorway - LOL
#7 was that really a dog on the dash?!?!?!
Yes, it was a Dachshund
Quinn, the cammer in #5, approached a five-exit roundabout in the right-hand lane. The car ahead indicated right, overtook the van in the left-hand lane and cut across to take the second exit, at a sensible speed to manage the risk without inconveniencing the van. This forced Quinn, who apparently had the same plan, to abandon the overtake rather than continue much more dangerously. Quinn dropped speed to exit behind the van, then - the main event - pressed the horn for 8 seconds and tailgated the van off the roundabout.
The van driver brake-checked Quinn.
That's quite a balance sheet to save to the dashcam and then submit. But hey, everyone hates DPD drivers, don't they? Just tell a lie about the van being in the wrong lane, and those three letters will work like a charm.
#4 “Not sure if this is James Bond avoiding LTN cameras, or the first time using E10 petrol” 😂😂😂 that caption actually made me lol
#15 if you had to take a breather for stopping so quickly then you were going too fast
And they continued to roll forward
Clip #16 He tried so hard to stop the overtake but failed in the end. He must have been so disappointed he felt the need to report him!
#2... If you continue driving into a closing gap... and then confront the other driver, what do you expect?
There is a pedal in your car that can be pressed to avoid problems, rather than ploughing on regardless (trying to pass on the inside). Confrontation could easily cause more problems...
Try to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.
You sure you mentioned the right clip? #2 the Merc switches lanes without using mirrors before signalling and moving. Cammer keeps to their lane throughout the clip...
@@Interstella101 Yes!.. but you completely miss the point.
Yes the Merc is an Ass, but it is slightly in front.... and the cammer ploughing on won't help (just brake or ease off. If you have time to hit the horn, you didn't really have a problem!).
Confrontation could just get you punched or worse. Just brake and suck it up, because at some point you will inadvertently be in the wrong lane and rely on others to save you from your error.
#13 5:57 the van driver deserved a brake check if it was SORN at the time of the incident
#16 has reported this to the police and probably dropped himself in it too 😂 terrible driving from both!
He was obviously deliberately blocking the pick up. What a knob.
#9 Car pulling out into lane 3 didn't check his mirrors but whole problem was caused by the white car just sitting in lane 2 with nothing to overtake. These lane hoggers cause 90% of the problems on Motorways.
The golf still had plenty of time to check mirrors, signal and then manoeuvre, one lane hogger doesn't mean you can drive without checking mirrors
The car pulling out wasn't much better. Why wasn't it in the inside lane to begin with? That lane looked practically empty, so the car could have undertaken safely just by travelling at its chosen speed. Once it completed the overtake it moved back into the middle lane and no further, when it could have been in the inside lane at that point.
@@somebodycalledmesebastian3517They seem to divide up into two groups - one group who sits one lane out from the inside lane, and the other group that sits one lane in from the outside lane. It would be great (IMO) if a dashcammer recorded their motorway trip and just submitted a list of number plates with the footage to the police - if there were penalty points dished out for lane hogs, lane discipline might improve somewhat!
While I'm on my soapbox, penalty points for those who block people correctly driving roadworks merge in turn areas, and polite letters from the police for everyone who's queued up far too early might improve those situations too.
Not sure what more you can do about people driving the wrong way around roundabouts - foreigners gonna foreign I guess (and I'm sure there will be Brits doing it in left-hand drive countries too).
#15... That flashing amber light on the car (we call that for indicator) probably confused you, maybe you don't know what is that... The driver not "just pulled out" , there was a bloody indicator ON... And there was enough time/distance to react,in this case, to slow down...
4:06 Judging by how much faster you're going than everyone else. odds are YOU are the bad driver.
#2 Yes the Merc went to change lanes without indicating BUT if the cammer hadn't attempted to undertake in the first place this would have been a non incident
Yep, and also the fact they then followed and confronted them when there was no collision (and therefore no need to swap insurance details) shows that this is another angry cammer who can't drive defensively and understand that people make mistakes, their anger and insistence on pricing that they are right rather than being safe, actually makes the roads a more dangerous place
5:00 dude punched the "save recording" button on his dash cam so hard it nearly changed channel.
2:00 is 10 seconds of leaning on your horn enough? Hardly surprising you got brake checked. If that's how you respond to every driver in the wrong lane and you lived my life you would need horn servicing on a weekly basis!
#9 Poor awareness from the VW but probably exacerbated by the cammer doing about 90mph
I've done what the VW did because I didn't appreciate the fact the car in the cammer's position was doing in excess of 90mph. My bad as I was a new driver back then, but the other driver shouldn't have been 20 over. I think that is what happened here.
And the corsa middle lane hogging
Driver @ 5:26 ish - might not be able to see no entry signs, but can reverse better than most. I reckon they did pass their driving test.
#16 wtf. Have a quite word with yourself if you think in any way you were in the right. And that goes with the pickup driver also. Shocking.
... watching someone on the road doing something stupid.
- What should I do here? Oh I know, let's make things even worse!
#5 (1:59) Once he'd passed that exit, where did you think he was going to go? You were so focussed on trying to squeeze in front of him you weren't even bothered if that then caused a collision. Once he'd passed that exit you should have held back, especially if you wanted the next exit.
Cammer was hiding nicely in the van’s blind spot waiting for some action for his dash cam
Doesnt matter, he doesnt get right of way using the wromg lane. People who do that shit should not be allowed to drive.
@@michaelh7741 Oh, so you'd be another genius that would drive as though there wasn't a dirty great van at the side of you because you were 'in the right'. Got it.
The fact is, the van is there, pretending it isn't ain't gonna work. So trying to squeeze past it is further bad driving.
Dropping back and letting them in is the best course of action. After all, give that they've already missed one exit, there's every chance they could be going past the next one too.
Plus the excessive horn usage. A tell I've picked up from dash cam videos that often signifies a poor driver that's all too happy to rage at others for mistakes they'll excuse themselves for without a second thought.
@ShaimingLong i suppose its to get the bellend in the dpd van to at least acknowledge that theyre in the wrong with a quick hazard light flash.
6:45 it's a congested road, max 30 mph, and it's easy to anticipate a car pulling out. talking about your heart rate returning to normal is cringe- we're hardly talking about life and death here.
Hey you cammers- try not to pull up two inches behind the back of large vans, lorries and busses. Leave a tiny bit of room for manoeuvre instead.
#16, i would be embarrassed to send that to the police. You caused a issue for no reason, i can understand why he got annoyed. You are a absolute 🔔 end.
2:00 - yes the van driver was in the wrong, but I don't think you held your horn on long enough. Probably why he checked you, in no way is that right, but beep, back off and get on with your day.
Exactly, horn is mean to tell people that you're there, not blare it at people as a telling off
I don't even see what the van driver did that was wrong, they were ahead of the cammer throughout the clip and kept to their lane. Cammer clearly saw what was going to happen after the van didn't exit and instead tried cutting them up and then blasting the horn like a child
@@Interstella101the van entered the roundabout from lane 1 to turn right, they should have entered from lane 2 if they wanted to turn right.
@@v52gc ah yes I can see why people would get annoyed at undercutting, still poor anticipation and even worse usage of the horn.
@@Interstella101 yeah, it could be said the van may have jumped a queue or such.
Cammer is just using the horn to pointlessly reprimand at this point. Annoying as anything for anybody living nearby.
#9 That section of A38 is in Devon, not Cornwall, you can tell by the speed lovers accent as he asks what the other driver thinks he's doing by making him slow down from 90 to 75mph.
One of the best touches of this channel is numbering the videos. Great work channel boss.
Wonder if cammers will ever learn not to undertake or overtake on roundabouts?
Of course not. How will they get clips to send in?
@@cactusbase3088 There are lots of clips like this. These videos are describes as 'educational'. Clearly, it isn't working
Clip 7: I know where this is, and cars wanting to turn right out of the side road really can't see anything coming under bridge until it's nearly on top of them. It's surprising there aren't a lot more accidents here. Worcester City Council or Worcestershire County Council need to do something such as traffic lights.

I find scenarios like #7 happen every time I drive now. Its like give way rules have reversed these days with people expecting you to let them out and you are in the wrong if you dont.
Love how i had a dpd advert pop up right as the dpd van clip was playing 😂
#11 Got so mad he was able to warp time and space as evident by his dashcamera 😅
#16 who did you report to the police? Yourself? The orange pickup? Because quite frankly, it was appalling driving from you both.
#9 This is a big problem everywhere on our roads, indicating to switch lanes does not give you automatic right to move if there's a car making a passing manoeuvre.. mirror, signal, manoeuvre.. learnt while taking driving lessons.. forgotten when issued that pink card!
#5, if you see a DPD van.... EXPECT HIM TO DO SOME DANGEROUS AGGRESSIVE MANOEUVRE! No point in challenging him for road space unless you've got a good chance of prevailing; with the van already in full view in front of cammer, that wasn't going to happen...
#9 Not a brake check, just a clueless driver not looking before they pull out, and the cammer driving too fast.
#16 Messing around with the pick-up driver was silly. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
People that drive with unrestrained animals clearly couldnt care less about their safety or welfare. You slam on the brakes and your dog becomes nothing more than a meat missile.

Rearrange into suitable sentence 😮😂
Wrong overtaking could on possibly a what roundabout go?
@@ChrisBrown-px1oy lol hahaha 👏
#15 is partially wrong on the camera's end. The car was indicating from the start, and was clearly about to merge into the lane. There wasn't a ton of time to react, but they definitely would have noticed, even if subconsciously.
Also, within the speed limit maybe but the cammer was still driving too fast!
That first one, why on earth were they even trying to overtake? A car pulling a trailer has the same speed limit as an HGV on a single carriageway road in England: 50mph.
The HGV could have been doing 40mph..? Regardless of the speeds involved, the overtake clearly wasn’t safe.
HGV are restricted to 56 mph in britain.
@@Steven-dd3le Yes, but they still have to adhere to any more restrictive speed limits.
@@Steven-dd3leno they're not, take the test and learn the facts
@@mrfustno, they are restricted to 60 on motorways and 50 on single carriage ways, 56 is the speed limit of the vehicle that triggers an 'over speed' warning on the taco head 🙄
For sheer bad driving, and lack of consideration for other drivers, it is hard to choose the worst between DPD, Addison Lee and National Express Coach drivers.
3:10 It is hazardous to 'yield' to a driver on a busy main road. Always a lot of assumptions from the participants when this occurs. as the dashcam clip clearly shows.
1.40, is that a ULEZ protest🙈🤣
# 16, 7:23, you in England really need our Dutch Turbo Roundabouts (wikipedia). With these, there will be way less conflicts.
Quinn was later prosecuted for falling asleep at the wheel with his head pressing the horn in.
Clip #7 was in Worcester. That junction is pretty bad, it’s one of the 2 “stop” junctions in the whole city. People crash like that all the time. I know this because I live there.
7:19, and cammer was sitting too closely to the Ford's rear for safety. 7:22, and cammer deliberately forces Ford into submission. Move on to 7:32, and cammer is equally deliberately 'upping the ante' by NOT passing the lorry, with the intent of pissing off the Ford for good measure. Pot and kettle comes to mind.
#2 and #5 (dpd van) could easily have been avoided
0:59 That's an everyday occurrence on my drive into work on Old Hall Street. Taxis are often the worst culprits, I once saw one parked with the hazards on just after a pedestrian crossing. I recently broke down just before the tunnel booths for the wallasey tunnel, so whacked on my hazards. The number of cars that pulled up right behind me, ignoring the hazards and thinking I was just not paying attention to the queue moving ahead of me was silly. People seem to have forgotten what hazards are for these days lol
#2 Why did you confront the driver? What’s the point? Just get on with your day.
#16 I imagine the sounds muted for a reason, you’re blocking the road just to punish them, grow up. Mental you’d even send that in.
4:05 He made an error he hadn’t seen you and yes that’s apologising to you when the hazards come on straight after, plus he then moves over so yeh genuine mistake imo
The driving test needs to be 300 % tougher..
#15 06:43 The cam car driver needs hazard perception. The fact that the car that pulled out is indicating their intention and the cam car is approaching at speed limit, the cam driver should have been aware of the indicator and been slowing down. This would prevent the need to emergency brake and the heart rate would be normal.
#16 as bad as each other really.
2:50 You should not have a loose animal in the front of your vehicle!
#16 you’re in the overtaking lane either put your foot down or move out the way
#7 was the dog just chilling on the dashboard? Bet the driver is an "animal lover".
2:05 Wonder if DPD actually stands for "Drunken Parcel Delivery"
Judging from our local DPD delivery guys I'm going with "Doped-up" for that first D.
Poor dog!
#7 that tunnel in worcester has always been a hazard, you cannot see traffic approaching from the right at all, should probably be the last place you look eh?
@2:50 and that's why you don't have your dogs loose in the car.
#16 driver knew what the knob in the pickup was doing. Just let him go and save the stress.

3:40 no need to pull out so early at all, the bad driving was created by you
Channels like this make you realise just how important dashcams are there is too many idiots on the roads lately.
And some own dash cams too.
6:00 This van driver is a legend.
#15 you may have been doing the speed limit, but your were certainly not driving to the conditions of the road, with the traffic and parked cars.
2:50, under the railway bridge in Worcester; that is a NASTY junction, I have had a pickup pull out on me and I slammed into the side (on my bike); the driver failed to stop.
Worse it is a VERY busy junction, as that road leads to all the retail parks; so there are lots of accidents and near misses.
