- Is Madden 24 worth $70? I played Madden 24 on PC and was stoked because it was next gen, so I figured I’d give my full review on Madden 24 and whether or not you should buy it and support EA Sports.

Its crazy how unrealistic it has become dbs running across the field in 1 second, db shedding linemen blocks, nobody plays their zone on defense, every corner in the league gets beat on press, dbs can swat lob passes from 5 yards behind, defensive players all automatically react to every throw even when theres no way they could see it, your defense players will actively refuse to defend against RPO bubbles, your defense will collapse itself inside on an outside stretch the list just goes on
Dude exactly!! I bought it and noticed these things too!! People using LBs to user and cover the entire field every play and not have any sort of defensive exhaustion. Game to be as realistic as possible. How are DBs swatting balls when they've been beat by 5 yards?
Yeah, when a DB covering a WR behind where I throw the ball, turns and swats the pass, without even seeing that I threw the ball, infuriating...

Reviews like this is what keeps me from getting madden year after year. But kids aren’t educated enough, that if we stop buying this game they’ll have to do something about it.

They haven't HAD to make a good game since they stole exclusive licensing. When 2k was still in the game, both franchises were at their best because they had competition.
Exactly! In my opinion, 2K was actually better until they monopolized the market! Competition always brings about the best product.. In the end, the only way to force them to make a better game is to stop buying it!
When there was Game Day, Madden and NFL 2K they all knew us consumers had choices… we now have only 1 and Madden (EA) knows it 🤷🏻♂️💩💯

You haven't looked hard enough. There are plenty of recent good games out there, most are indie titles that are only on PC though.

I remember getting 03’ for Christmas as a kid. I really liked Marshall Faulk at the time and it blew my mind seeing him on the cover. Those were the days, when madden was simpler and not filled with unnecessary mechanics.

Madden was at its peak during the 2000’s when it was simpler
Yearly releases like Madden and FIFA have had a problem for at least a decade. The majority of the time, they're just rereleases of the previous years game with updated player rosters. Every 3-5 years or so they'll give a new mode or something but really, the difference between years is more along the lines of $10 DLC, certainly not a full $70 game. Same goes with CoD, Pokemon, etc. no reason Modern Warfare 3 shouldn't have been $10-20 DLC but they released it as a full game because they know that hardcore fans will pay it regardless. As long as gamers enable this, the devs will keep doing it.

It just never changes they need a theme team mode that’s just building your players though online play on ultimate team
Here is an idea for the future. Using VR and a body suit, you get to be on the field or be the coach on the field. If you are playing in the game and get hit, you will feel a little thump on your body part that got hit. I am talking that really futristic stuff. Back in
The last Madden I bought before 24 was 15. 24 has a lot more features but I kind of feel like 15 had a better overall gaming experience. Kind of a shame becsuse 24 had nearly a decade to improve.

Dog shit game. Contains can be glitched out. Running is glitched out. An the game rewards these players cause it's consistent.

I actually like the few changes, its just kind of stupid when they only add 2 different styles, retexture the game barely and update rosters for something that should be updated without spending 50-70$ annually
It breaks my heart how much Madden games suck now. The physics model is obviously broken and the skill level now just limits how far ahead you can be so you’ll always be down a score with 2 minutes left.

I have to restart the game about 15 times per game because I get 13 freezes on the loading screen, 2 freezes in game, and then finally able to finish the game
It felt like I picked up where I left off in 2000
