meanwhile winged hussar xin zhao is maybe the strongest example of a terrific splash art for a awful skin
in fact it's so awful that the skin is outright broken, the wings on his back aren't actually connected to his back, they float separately from it and have done so for years
odyssey jinx and highnoon thresh are good examples of that too. amazing splash art, just gorgeous. and then in game models look like garbo
The newer splash arts for really old Skins can sometimes be so deceiving.
I once bought Nightblade Irelia in 2015. Very bad decision at the time.

Alright so I started guessing on which skins skyen would pick as his best/worst ones and decided to keep a tally in the comment section. My vote this time was on marauder Xin zhao because despite the edge it was the least awkward looking. So hooray!

Next guess: Commando xin zhao as Xin zhao's worst skin. Since from what Skyen is saying* im thinking imperial Xin zhao is the only other skin that could take this one and while that one is bland it actually has a coherent concept.
*warring kingdoms, cosmic defender, secret agent and viscero basically got deconfirmed, he said commando skin was the most awkward which rules out winged hussar (the other really awkward one) and dragonslayer is just kinda meh so that leaves imperial and commando.

Man it’s really tough to determine a bad urgot skin because he was hit with the “all your skins are great now” rework treatment

That’s actually a term. I know I was confused too lol when I was in French class I thought it was Je ne sais pas (I don’t know) but Je ne sais quoi is a term meaning, exactly what it says, I don’t know what (describing that you don’t know how to describe an attribute).

Xin Zhao is just not fleshed out enough for him to be remarkable, even in skins. I just can’t get excited over him. That being said, marauder skin line is sick, this skin is sick, and I have a suit fetish (thanks Telepute and Helltaker)

See, I'm a total mark, so the Warring Kingdoms Zhao Yun reference 100% does it for me. Just like how Guan Yu is my favorite Tryndamere skin and Lu Bu is my favorite Jarvan skin.

Im extremely biased and would say all the cosmic/dark star skins are great, but i get what skyen said and can see why marauder would be his best skin for xin.
I have all his skins imo cosmic is super smooth and beautiful but sound effects are rly annoying, for me warring kingdoms with gold/blue or gold chroma is the best the skin and is super clean
It’s gotta be the Winged Hussar for me. But it always gets slept on. The art work on that one really holds up for a classic and the wings really help ad something interesting to his character.
Marauder does function as a skin though so valid

Xin's best skin was, is, and will always be Secret Agent, it's like Mafia Graves it boost your confident in the champ up 10 times when you use it.

Secret agent is surprisingly good for its price though.
The splash art for Commando Xin Zhao looks like a B-rated action spy movie fusion of Huge Jackman (as Wolverine) and John Wick.
Loved the Link's shouting censoring, but I was left waiting for the sound he mades when he hits the ground.
I don't care how clunky it looks, the fact that the Winged Hussar skin exists makes it the best by default.
To be fair, I’m a Wild Rift player and not a LOL pc player, but I think Fire Cracker Xin Zhao is quite cute. He has the vibe of that cool uncle you always wanna see at family gatherings during the Lunar New Year.

Personally I think Dragon Slayer fit surprisingly well with his animations, still it could be better with some updates.

Marauder is a pretty nice skin line. Im glad they added more. I used to really like marauder warwick butt now with that big lego piece sticking out of his back it just looks too odd to want to look at.

Presonaly I love Winged Husar Xin Zhao. I am Polish so I may be biased (of course I am) but the wings are the coolest. It looked bad pre-rework but now... I love it!
Cosmic would be awesome if it had the same color with his splash art. Bcz Cosmic Defender Xin's splash art is just so awesome. Butnin-game it looks like a guy with a costume. Not a cosmic defender. For Marauder, Splash art is not that bad and Marauder Xin is literally Darkin Xin Zhao. I can confirm Marauder skin makes you feel like getting extra +200 AD. The skin feels powerful.
When a champions best skin is a Marauder skin, you know that you dont have the best of lineups on your hands

While I agree that Marauder is probably his best skin, I still prefer Dragonslayer due to the fact that he's quite literally a Final Fantasy Dragoon, and I love it for that

My big issue with Cosmic is how different the splash art looks from actual in-game model.. might as well be a completely different skin.
Marauder ashe and marauder xin Zhao are the best skins, I don't like the boob armor on ashe but it still is a great skin

Wild Rift players don't get Marauder Xin Zhao, so Dragonslayer Xin Zhao is his best skin for him in Wild Rift, for me at least. Quite a sucker for armor type skins myself.

the " Saint George" skin. I supose he kinda shares that refrence with Pantheon but Sait George is not
depicted with a shield when fighting the dragon.Plus it looks great lots of monster hunter vibes from the armour design
