First Run In 5 Years: AA5

The Grumman Traveler hasn't run in over 5 years.
Major work, including a primary Structure repair to the fuesulage, major engine work, and fuel tank sealing has been completed.
At one point the airplane was scattered over 5 locations as it was moved around and placed in storage for a few years before commencing repairs.

Thanks. I have lots of editing I can do just not enough time and i need a new computer! I could do with a couple of extra days in the week lol

Hmm, maybe it should be scattered over 5 locations again! The lesson here: definitely get a pre-purchase, don’t spread your dismantled aircraft over the county, and avoid old plastics and composites! Not the most fun wrenching, but it’s done.

This year I've completed four post purchase inspections on aircraft which seems very backwards

Change all the liquids again after. You will fing rust in it. I also put Dura Lube on oil.
