At first I was very pleased with my car camping build but after a few short trips to test the build, I realized just how much it actually sucked - it was not working out the way I thought it would! Disclaimer: If you are a solo car camper and you don't need your build to be removable when you need to accommodate a 2-person setup or haul stuff around, this car camping build would probably work very well for you.

I found your channel recently and love your videos! I also like that you have Chrome's stickers around the camper! I have some of his throw pillows and stickers myself lol. Anywho, I was introduced to "pocket holes" with other van/camper builds I've seen over the years and it seems like the way to go for strength! I "cheated" and purchased a kit for the drawer system in my 4Runner, but I want to use some of your build ideas when I expand my storage for single person car camping. Thanks for your content and I'm excited to see your next video!

Girl I've changed my setup at least 7 times in the last 6 yrs. I did remove back seats bc I didn't need them I don't regret it but I didn't haul kids around u do. For now just do something simple no build and keep changing as needed. If I see u in Sept then I can show u in depth mine.
I’m really contemplating removing the double seats and leaving just one in the 2nd row. We shall see. 🤪 glad I’m not the only one constantly changing it up. Lol. I’ll email/message you. 😁

Great info, thanks for sharing!!! I say leave it as is for a bit to give you a chance to figure out what might work for you. I also SO agree on initially taking way too much stuff. I had everything organized but because it was difficult to get at stuff and then put it away again it became chaos. So I ended up doing a thorough declutter and keeping it to the minimum
Thanks for sharing! I have an idea that I think will give me what I want but this time I’m measuring every single major item so everything will have its place. I still need to get rid of some coffee making items lol. Limiting myself to 2 bins I think…. We’ll see. 😘
