Huddersfield Town roared on by big support in 3-1 defeat at Plymouth

The terriers made the trip down to Home park to play the pilgrims.Plymouth Argyle opened the scoring with Morgan Whittaker scoring after Tom lees and Lee Nicholls failed to clear the football out of the box.Before it struck half time Michał Helik scored to equal the game for the terriers.In the 2nd half Bali Mumba ran past the town defence to put Plymouth in front to make it 2-1. Almost straight after the second goal Ryan Hardie struck the 3rd goal to help Steven Schumacher team win the game against Neil Warnock’s side and hopefully HTAFC can win the next game in football

Absolutely superb that was from us from start to finish! Was getting worried at half time as we paid the price for a defensive error but thankfully we showed our quality in the second half once again! Ain’t underestimating Huddersfield one bit though as Neil Warnock knows this league inside out! Best of luck against Leicester next week, as well as the rest of the season and I’ll see you all in January! Support was absolutely brilliant from the Terriers well done honestly! #COYG 💚

Decent following from Town and strong support for the team today. Long distance and had to drive through some torrential rain en route. The game was on a knife edge at 1-1 but Plymouth got the vital breakthrough.

💚⚽️💚Got to say it. Huddersfield Town fans as good as any we saw here last year. A decent bunch all round. Gave it some good jaw pre match. A little quiet when we nicked an early one but then got right back into it when you controlled the game until we sealed it in the second half. Respect from an old timer. Come back next year. 💚⚽️💚

I agree. They were good for 20 mins before half time, then started the second half really well, but seemed to stop trying to play any decent football half way through second half.

Aha, the confidence is flowing now you’ve won your first game. Fair play - you started and finished the game well, and looked sharp when attacking from deep. On another day, it might have been different, but you got those two quick second half goals at a key time in the match.
