    @175dell Před 4 lety +6

    We have been doing this for a few months now, my son is 6 months old now. It worked amazingly at first. The problem I'm having is my son is puking a lot lately. It turns out my mother in law who has been staying with us for a few months, she doesn't understand the concept of moderation. She's been mixing this up as follows, 8oz of cooked oatmeal (the same oatmeal you have), 3 oz of water, 6 scoops of formula, making about 11oz in total and feeding all of it to him. Also I think shes over feeding him, like badly. It's super thick. We feed him every 3 hrs and are incorporating baby food into his meals. We are new parent's and trust out mother but it seems like this formula mixture is a bit too thick and heavy. I don't know, do you have any input?

    • @TheWorthyMuva
      @TheWorthyMuva  Před 4 lety +3

      175dell thats way too much. The most Noel drank at 6 months was 6-8 oz in one sitting...
      if you are incorporating baby food,
      Don’t feed him the cereal bottle at the same time only regular milk. Only feed the oatmeal cereal when he’s not eating food. And no more than 8oz.

    • @175dell
      @175dell Před 4 lety +1

      @@TheWorthyMuva I thought it was a bit much. I didn't word it the best, what I meant by incorporating baby food into his meals was1 meal a day is baby food. We don't mix the types of food we feed him in one sitting. But I think she is over feeding him badly. My mother in law leaves in 5 days. So I've been waiting her out. Lol She helped us immensely but she is doing some weird stuff with his schedule and feedings. My wife and mother in law are Ukrainian, they are another kind of stubborn. 👀 But I can't help but be concerned that things like this may be a little extreme.
      I appreciate your input.
