    I like the idea, my question is how does it handle cross-walk signs to let you know when it is safe to cross. Some places have an annunciator to let you know when it is safe to cross. Some are a spoken voice others are some kind of sound that is emitted from the direction of your destination. I would like to see how this would be implemented here in the states.

    The white cane is very useful and hard to replace with an electronic device. If it aint broke dont fix it.
