    It would be a good idea for newer UK trains to have this system on high speed lines to reduce congestion...

    I finally figured out why the train stops and doesn't move I totally get why people are confused with this tutorial introduction so let me explain as simple as I can basically they are teaching you about the autopilot system known as LZB which basically controls your train speed and Auto brakes but when you almost reach to the end the guy tells you to press PZB release in 10 seconds because if you don't the train will automatically do a emergency stop once that happens you have to reset the entire train again however if you do it right by pressing PZB release then as soon as he tells you to turn the AFB all the way down to zero do not manually control the brakes once he tells you the LZB is now disabled then you will have complete control of the train brakes please like this comment if it was helpful

      The tutorial doesn’t explain it correctly. There are two parts which are important the LZB itself and the AFB how to engage them should be clear through the tutorial. AFB is a speedometer which holds the speed it is set to. LZB is a system that has to be engaged in Germany while driving over 160 km/h as signals can not be reacted to in time at those speeds. When LZB AND AFB are active they work together as in as long as V/soll is set above the LZB permitted limit. Example LZB max is 200km/h AFB is set to 330km/h in this case the AFB will hold the LZB speed of 200. When AFB is set below LZB speed example AFB 160km/h LZB 200km/h then the rain will hold the 160km/h as the lowest is always applied.

    why is afb til 330kmh but the hd only shows that u can go up to 250kmh?

    Everytime I try this tutorial the train stops just before the platform in Wurzburg. It just doesn't move, no matter what I do, then after a while it starts to move again.

      @@Around-The-Verse Safety systems are complicated as hell. You just gotta understand it, because the train stops if you do something wrong, and there's a lot of scenarios where you can make a mistake.

    So once the letter B appears on the HUD, how can we put back to the Ü?

    • @kostiskat
      @kostiskat Před rokem

      It means that the LZB system is not available and implies manual control. This usually happens when you are approaching the station. Once you leave the LZB system becomes available again and the U comes back on.

    How do you restart the train if it's completely stopped ?

    Is there some difference between PZB/LZB???

    • @Myron0117
      @Myron0117 Před rokem +3

      LZB only works if theres an LZB cable in the tracks, which the train will recognize. PZB works with all signals that have a magnet next to the track, the train scans it and knows what state the signal is in to let you pass or emergency-brake you or whatever
