This goes to show when u have someone that love, respects and treats u good, u shouldn’t disrespect them by putting them down and hurting them. U shouldn’t try to change a person to who u want them to be. U should love them no matter what. Because when u change them u never like what u gonna get. I think both men and women should have something of their own to fall back on. Often in Africa it's the women who are thrown out of matrimonial homes by husband or in-laws.
It's horrible the way she treated him but it was partly his fault for letting her do it and not standing up for himself.
The worst thing anyone can ever do is to stand there and let somebody disrespect them. When you love someone, I know it's hard and you tolerate a lot from them but if they keep on walking on you, you need to think of getting them out of your life. It doesn't matter whether they hold all the cards in the relationship. Nobody deserves to be made to feel inferior or defeated etc, let alone allow another person to make their existence a miserable one.
