  • Today we move the pigs from the barn to their outside home. The family comes together to take what should be an easy task that turns out to be a bit more difficult than planned.

There is nothing worse than chasing pigs. 😃They are so smart and sneaky. And fast even with their little short legs and fat bellies. Except maybe heifers loose in the cornfield. Ah memories from childhood.

Thank You so much for not being just another one of the purveyors of the grass-fed pasture pig myth!!! And Thank You for understanding how that hogs grow the best and fastest by being provided full feed 24/7!!!
YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST DAMN PIG WRANGLERS IN WYOMING!!!
Next time get 4’x4’ pieces of plywood to use to guide the piggies 🐷.
You can cut holes for handles near one edge.

Might not have been very fun for you, but this was the most entertaining thing I've watched in a while! Reminded me of being your kids' size and "helping" my grandfather move pigs! Same result, including the squealing when Grandpa picked the last ones up!

Life would be so much easier with Pig Boards and if you started training the pigs to a bucket from day one. Call out "Here Pig", shake the bucket, when they come feed them. So when it's time to move them you yell "here pig" and shake a bucket, they usually follow.

Enjoyed the pig stampede. Children will remember this in their lives with fond memories. Uncle Runt wasn’t going to let you pass him with the squealing pig. I thought he might go after you. Pigs have a very nice yard, all the comforts a pig to enjoy. Video was great, no problem with the view.

    Hi again MIKE
    The Perfect Babysitter!
Never have I ever seen a roundup quite like that lol lol!
Feel your pain Mike about out the hay! We always have had that same chat about the darn weather. Same as always we can't control it or count on a thing because of it and every year is different. Just like everyday even every hour every few minutes. So hoping you keep your brain in line which you can control and keep the stress manageable. You're really good at changing things up and around and keeping a positive attitude. So keep on keeping on keep the faith and keep moving forward...
Looking forward to branding and trying out the new corral system. See ya then!
    God bless

You done good when you consider that none of the pigs wanted to leave the old for the new. It's like they were determined to do the opposite of what you wanted. I'm guessing the solution is the same as in teenagers; they don't know what's good for them and they will do almost anything as long as they think it's their idea. Ha ha. It was fun anyway. Thanks for the show.

Get yourselves some hog or cattle panels to round up the pigs, they are a LIFE SAVER.
