Dream Theatre is Murata Tamu's (drummer) favourite band alongside Opeth. She did lots of DT drum cover video and my favourite DT cover she did was Constant Motion, which until now still is the most viewed Constant Motion drum over, only top by Portnoy's drum solo performance video.

As well as being an amazing drummer, Tamu also plays bass, sax, keyboards, guitar, xylophone ... Oh, and she is mother to two young children too. The singer, Mayu, is also a mother. These people are just superhuman.

OIRAN means first flower(a courtesan in Tokyo in RL) and Nemophila is the name of a flower..this is there signature song, first original as a band...the first flower! (they are my fave group of musicians/entertainers, from the official channel to the covers and originals and socials, just wonderful with the fans too, a special group....also always surprising with fresh different style in the songs!, ballads, pop. dance music they do it all with a "fluffy band from hell"--their words-- style :P)
These ladies were accomplished musicians before forming Nemophila. Tamu was one of the most sought out session drummers in Tokyo, playing on projects that ranged from prog, metal, jazz and pop. She was also a drum instructor holding clinics for Tama drums throughout Asia and she also plays guitar, bass, sax and classical piano. Hazuki, the guitarist with the ponytail playing Ibanez, is a technical wizard and you can see her range in demo videos for her Ibanez signature model guitars where she plays complex Steve Vai type beautiful melodic instrumentals. The other guitarist Saki has been a major player in the Japanese metal scene for over a decade and is seen as a big sister and mentor to a lot of the extraordinary young female Japanese guitarist taking Japan by storm. Then the bassist Haraguchi is a creative songwriter mixing middle eastern and Asian influences with metal. Finally there's Mayu who brought everyone together as a one off project for a metal show but the ladies connected so well they decided to make it permanent and formed Nemophila. There's a lot more but thats kinda the Cliff Notes version. They truly are a super group of elite musicians.

Closed stadium is a different feel than open air, its very difficult to make sure the audience listen every small bits in open air even though open air stadiums seats more people.
Never thought about that, makes sense though!
Why do the Japanese female drummers look so relaxed and the Western drummers look more like miners?
