She was shady on that. She said it apparently will be on didn’t sound like an Exact statement that it’ll be on there so don’t be surprised if it’s not 30 million subscribers only $14 worth apiece or $70 per person times 35 million that’s a lot of money
I know this is random but can you make a Graphics tutorial? I've been playing this game for a while and Extreme settings on 2K Graphics look really bad for some reason. So, I would be very happy to have these graphics. Since, I've been dealing with these options for so long but still couldn't manage to find out what's the problem.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, if Microsoft is adding Call of Duty to GamePass there will 100% be a price hike or a new tier that includes Call of Duty at a higher price.
I could see them adding Call of Duty to GamePass now, including the one this year, then hiking the price up next year because they know a good chunk of people will forget to cancel their subscription / won't cancel their subscription becausw they're actively playing the new Call of Duty.
So when they say COD sold bad will they shutter Activision? 😂

A lot of people are saying call of duty sales would go down if they put cod on gamepass but people are forgetting the PlayStation players will still have to pay full price so it wouldn't really effect the sales unless all PlayStation players go to Xbox over it
If Treyarch sticks to round based Zombies maps, but they go back to the classic idea of selling Map Packs for $15 apiece, or $50 for the season pass, I would gladly spend that money if CoD took a free to play model. I mean, just look at Warzone, it's free to play but I bet the average everyday player has dropped at least 10 or 20 bucks on an appealing bundle in the shop. Interested in how this one turns out.

They should add the games on gamepass because if players are going to subscribe then they get to try out the games for themselves and they can decide if they want to actually BUY the games and keep the games
Not quite. This is actually a double edge sword situation because either way they screwed up. For the game to be successful, you need alot of sales of the game( $70 × # of sales + MTX). Making cod free on game pass is an interesting idea, but the downside to this is that you need consumers (us) to buy the game pass because as of right now not many are, also many people may not buy the pass just for that one game so thats another factor. Plus this can impact the sales of call of duty.
@@gregoryosbun4141COD makes so much money it wouldn't hurt them. I can't imagine COD being on gamepass will hurt sales. The casual & hardcore will still buy the game for $70. Why would someone pay $20+ a month to just play COD. People will buy regardless.

@@fades9105 Exactly, it's obvious that the current number of Game Pass subscribers makes it unsustainable to make expensive exclusive AAA-games and having them Day-1 on Game Pass. Given Xbox's smaller market share, this would probably also be sustainable if they were sold instead. However, COD on Game Pass Day-1 means that Microsoft still gets plenty of revenue from all the other platforms, which make up the vast majority of sales. IMO, COD is also the game that has the greatest potential to make players on other platforms, switch to Xbox Game Pass where Microsoft gets 100% of the revenues, including MTXs!
TBH them not specifically saying COD will be on or not + Bloomberg recent report of COD might not be coming on gamepass is kinda suspect

And probably also Microsoft's best chance of convincing people to switch from other platforms, where Microsoft gets 70% of the revenues, to Xbox Game Pass where they get 100% of the revenues (including MTXs). Given its wide appeal and frequent releases, I can't think of a game better suited for encouraging STAYING subscribed to Game Pass at all time!
If you are happy about this even being half true we are in for a horrible horrible next few years. This 70$ yearly update and bundles is what’s keeping them a float. Unless they make this whole game free to play but then they will just ramp up the packs and prices like apex legends. Gaming is so chalked nowadays it’s crazy

Why would I pay £70 for COD when I get xDefiant for free, the game won't just be replaced after a year and there's no SBMM?
The only attraction to the new COD would be zombies, but I'll probably wait for an offer.
The problem is that if old cods are put on gamepass they have to stop at certain point, they add cod up to cold war or vangarbage. The reason is people will just wait till the game is on gamepass if they wait a year to put it on to play it. If people are smart theyd buy physical and then return it and get the “free” version when it hits gamepass. If they put on day 1, prices go up at least $20 for a yearly sub. Maybe thats not a lot or your value is still there, good for you but for me i only touch xbox on a $1 for ultimate and PlayStation is gonna be a monthly sub as well. Prices are too high id rather pay for a month and bang out a game and dip.

They're still charging like 60$ for BO3 zombies chronicles.. and the other map packs are still original price of $15.99.. so I could see them wanting to keep the map packs separate to keep getting that money.. but I agree games that old should come with the map packs available for all..

They would rather push Game Pass subscriber numbers. That's one of the main reasons why they decided to buy Activision along with King for their upcoming Mobile store plans. If they were to go back on that promise people would unsubscribe which Microsoft doesn't want to happen.
So, Microsoft lied about it when they did the purchase of the franchise. They literally said that they weren't going to do that. There are literally more Playstation consoles sold than Xbox. Their loss I guess and it really doesn't matter anyways, due to the fact that the franchise is hammered with cheaters and EOMM. Good luck Microsoft and PC players with that shit franchise.
False. They said they wouldn’t make COD exclusive in any way, including no early betas/full game access on Xbox and PC like Sony has done with PlayStation the past 10 years.

Just because a game goes on Xbox Game Pass doesn't mean that it won't be available on PlayStation consoles. As far as I'm aware, Microsoft would not at all be going back on their word by putting COD on Game Pass.

Id say add CoD games to gamepass if its been out for over a year (a year and a half would be a solid metric). That way you still get the inital sales boom but you can still grow gamepass with CoD.

If you have game pass core or regular editions you won’t be able to play cod for free. If you have game pass ultimate then you’ll get it for free. I doubt most ppl will wanna pay 16.99 per month just to play cod. Plus game pass ultimate might increase price. By the end of the day you’ll probably end up paying way more for game pass ultimate than just buying the game

Yes they will because you would need gamepass ultimate to have access to it. Not everyone with Xbox has gamepass ultimate. They would still make plenty of money and gain more subscribers and people would spend money on bundles

@@Flynnwhite93 yes they will add them to Gamepass, Xbox has regionalized prices in poor regions like South Africa & South America, & recently there has been price hikes of old call of duty titles, which basically mean they will put the games to Game Pass.
Those million of people which buy CoD every year, can still buy the game regardless if it's on gamepass or not, the good thing is they will own the game for ever while gamepass owners will have to pay monthly. And a huge chunk of players are on playstation, so they will have to buy the game paying full price, that or moving to xbox/ pc & buying gamepass, so it's a good strategy either way.

Bo3 gives you the dlc maps on muilti for free atleast it lets me keep playing even tho i didnt own it

Don't forget that Xbox is shutting down the 360 store so if you didn't buy the game or dlc it would no longer show up at the end of July. Buying 360 games will end on my birthday July 29th. So if you don't have the game or dlc you're left in the dark forever nor can you get it on new gen store or at least I don't think you can. They haven't mentioned specifically in the new gen store yet.

They had to put their newer exclusives on PlayStation cuz that customer base pays full price for games. Call of duty is the only game they have that sells and they gotta make up the $69 billion they paid for activision. Putting call of duty on gamepass day 1 would be a huge mistake. 6 months after release makes more sense just like they did with Diablo 4.
