@@AlexTheGreat21 and who created the creator who created God? and who created that creator? that's an infinite regress argument, but it doesn't hold up -- the issue being ignored in that argument is that only a created thing can have a creator, but an eternal thing cannot logically have a creator.
so naturally it follows that something must be eternal for anything to be created at all; this is what some call a "first cause" and it really doesn't matter what you believe that something is, but you must believe in it -- never heard of anyone atheist or otherwise who didn't believe in some type of first cause, but even if one did, the alternative to a first cause is that you believe in more than one thing being eternal, which means you're still recognizing that something is eternal, and that it causes other things.
we believe God as His eternality is described in the Bible, and for believers that's good enough, but for everyone else (and having been part of that crowd for 38 years of my life) it was better to not think about it in that last decade or so, because there simply is no acceptable answer.

No he's not fear mongering dude Ray was just telling Amy and her husband what he believes is true. May The Grace of The Lord God be with brothers and sisters in Christ our Lord and God bless brother Ray Comfort and Living Waters ministry. This has nothing and everything to do with the video but please listen if you want to otherwise leave it alone and ignore it. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a 22 year old Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college student. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't.
I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.
Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers.
Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years
ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution such as speciation and adaptation because there's no evidence of macro Evolution nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I don't mean this is any condescending manner but if you'd like to discuss The Scriptures with me or have me listen to your view on anything my instagram account is Savage Christian Kombatant.

Every time someone talks about how they will be "hanging out " in hell with other people, my heart sinks because they have no clue what hell really is.
God gives you what you are asking for if you reject Him... the absence of Him, which will include all of the things He provides to you, and a punishment for eternity...
1.The blackness of darkness... God removes His light. Forever.
2.Solitary confinement... the absence of God, any other created being, and the absence of all comfort. Forever.
3.Weeping and gnashing of teeth... upon learning the truth of God's word and understanding who God is, now they will be banished from God's loving presence. Forever. Some will be saddened and weep. Some will hate Him and gnash their teeth at Him. Some may do both.
    4. Because God IS good... all you will be left with is everything that is bad. No hope. No loving-kindness. No happiness. Etc... Forever.
    5. There's more... but wasn't just the first one enough to bring you to repentance?? A change of mind??
Sadly MANY are deceived by Satan and come RUNNING into the gates of hell. They love their sin too much until it's too late and death has seized them... and they die IN their sin. Did I mention torment of fire?

Read the book of Matthew. You'll be more afraid of Jesus than anything else after reading it. Constantly saying you're going to hell if you do x, y, and z.. Obviously, x, y, and z are things you do on a daily basis!
Many parts of the Bible aren't meant to make us comfortable! It's meant to call us out on our evil ways so that we admit we're sinners and submit to God!
Read Romans chapter 3 and 9, these passages helped me realize the truth about human nature and God's nature.

The lady has just died at age 96 - we knew it was eminent so I had my church friends pray. My husband is really sad. I told him of our prayers and his face brightened when I said it’s possible God spoke to her heart and she received Him like the thief on the cross and could well be in heaven. He’s only human ❤

I think that emphasizing the love of Christ and all that he offers and provides is a much more effective means of evangelizing in a third world nation, where people are so needy, and humble. But in the west, the fearful reality of our sin nature, and the consequences thereof are in fact more necessary and effective to relate to people.

I didn't say they were the same, only that they both work together to create a heart, a spirit that is more open to receive the love of God than to be told of their need because of their sin. A humble-hearted person does not need to be shown nearly as much that they are a sinner in need of the redemption given by Jesus, and the goodness that God offers through salvation is much more appealing to a poor person in destitution, thus they are more responsive to that approach.
I definitely agree with your last sentence though.

I think part of the disconnect is if someone doesn't believe in God then the Bible and the moral law mean very little to them. It doesn't matter to her what Jesus did for her because she doesn't believe it at all. You have to have a starting place of a person believing there is a God for them to care about the judgment of him. I pray she will reflect on this, that it won't lift from her heart and she will be forced to confront the error in her beliefs. But if she doesn't accept the reality of God she will never accept the law or the grace offered.

Praise be to God for Ray hearing his calling & becoming a great fisher of men! God Bless.
I hope someone here can help me. I finally got up the courage to tell my reverend that I don't have a fear of God after a lifetime of trying to either find that fear or understand what I'd misinterpreted as fear as the Bible clearly states I should have it but he just asked me if I was trying to live my life in a way that's acceptable to God & I told him I was but the motivation was love & not fear but he just dismissed me. I cringe when being described as a good God-fearing woman & am troubled when reading scriptures of needing that fear. I know what a healthy fear is & I've tried, but I can't find it. I have immeasurable love, gratitude, reverence, awe & respect, but no fear. I was raised in a Baptist church & still attend the same church I was saved & baptized in. I know Jesus Christ as my Lord & Savior. I fully surrendered my life to Him. I read the bible & pray daily. He is at the center of my life every day. I love Him with every fiber of my being. I have confessed my sins. I have repented, being truly remorseful & I do everything within me to not sin again. God is first & foremost in my life. I have always felt His presence in my life. Several years ago, I experienced what even doctors had to admit was a true miracle when both full sensation & movement was returned to me one morning after being confined to a wheelchair, paralyzed below my hips for 7 years & am now walking again. I know how almighty our heavenly father is & have absolutely no doubt, so what's wrong with me & what can I do to be fearful? Thank you & God bless you all!

When I read your comment, I saw the fear of God in you. God loves you. He doesn't want you to become paralyzed by overthinking things. Here is an article from got questions about having fear of God. Praying for you ❤
What does it mean to have the fear of God?
      ANSWER
For the unbeliever, the fear of God is the fear of the judgment of God and eternal death, which is eternal separation from God (Luke 12:5; Hebrews 10:31). For the believer, the fear of God is something much different. The believer’s fear is reverence of God. Hebrews 12:28-29 is a good description of this: “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our ’God is a consuming fire.’” This reverence and awe are exactly what the fear of God means for Christians. This is the motivating factor for us to surrender to the Creator of the Universe.

Proverbs 1:7 declares, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge.” Until we understand who God is and develop a reverential fear of Him, we cannot have true wisdom. True wisdom comes only from understanding who God is and that He is holy, just, and righteous. Deuteronomy 10:12, 20-21 records, “And now, O Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Fear the LORD your God and serve him. Hold fast to him and take your oaths in his name. He is your praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes.” The fear of God is the basis for our walking in His ways, serving Him, and, yes, loving Him.
Some redefine the fear of God for believers to “respecting” Him. While respect is definitely included in the concept of fearing God, there is more to it than that. A biblical fear of God, for the believer, includes understanding how much God hates sin and fearing His judgment on sin-even in the life of a believer. Hebrews 12:5-11 describes God’s discipline of the believer. While it is done in love (Hebrews 12:6), it is still a fearful thing. When we were children, our fear of discipline from our parents no doubt prevented some evil actions on our part. The same should be true in our relationship with God. We should fear His discipline, and therefore seek to live our lives in a way that pleases Him.
Believers are not to be scared of God. We have no reason to be scared of Him. We have His promise that nothing can separate us from His love (Romans 8:38-39). We have His promise that He will never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Fearing God means having a reverence for Him that greatly impacts the way we live. The fear of God is respecting Him, obeying Him, submitting to His discipline, and worshiping Him in awe.

God is perfectly just. So, when He judges, He does so completely and with utter perfection. When people hurt us deeply, God can heal us of those hurts. Those who hurt us can be forgiven, but they have to be born again and have had their wicked heart of stone removed and given a new heart of flesh by the Holy Spirit. The thought of bad people being forgiven can be painful, until we realize that we are also bad people and if God is perfectly just with us also, we would end up in hell too. But God didn’t want that, and He wanted to save people from death and hell, so that is why God sent His Son Jesus. Jesus died in our place as our substitute. If we repent of our sins and sinful lifestyle, and trust in Jesus and His finished work on the cross, we have the promise of forgiveness of all our sins and eternal life with God in heaven. We must forgive all who hurt us if we want forgiveness. If we don’t forgive, we will not be forgiven. No amount of grudges or self-righteousness and holding people in our debt, is worth missing heaven for and ending up in hell for. Letting go of all unforgiveness and letting God take care of it and trusting that He will judge perfectly frees us from so much pain and grief. God can heal us.

I think it's interesting how she said the reason why she steers away from Christianity is because she thinks some sins shouldn't be forgiven. Most people dislike Christianity because they WANT to be sinful and not have to repent for their sins. It's hard for us as human beings to see certain things as forgivable such as murder or rape, etc. If someone murdered or raped a loved one of mine, I doubt I could ever forgive them. But it's not up to us as human beings to provide forgiveness. That's what God is for. Forgiveness is a healing thing and an important part of life, yes, but sometimes it's not possible - that's the difference between humanity and divinity.
