Please don't stop the series. It's so refreshing. Love everything about it. As a 36+ yrs Registered Nurse in TN, I can relate to all the wonderful stories and nasty encounters with frustrated/burned out physicians. The patients always comes first.
To all the American Doc Martin fans, I just watched episode 4 of Series 6 and found it every bit as good as the previous episodes in the first 5 series. If you haven't signed up for Acorn yet, I advise you to get it. You can stream it on your computer also. Thank you to whoever helped bring it to the states in record time. Let's hope they continue the series.
i sold a large cement mixer to a doctor some years ago ,he asked me after i had shown him how to operate it"what do i do if it wont go in the morning " i replied ,give it two paracetamol then ring me if no better ,he did laugh
Oh my goodness.... Martin Clunes on the same show as Julian Fellows! I like Downton Abbey, but that man is even more talented as an actor. I'd rather see him in a comedy than .,. wait a minute. What just happened? I just heard Clunes say WHAT? And who was it that gave him the 3rd degree? What just happened there?

I've seen all episodes because I have Tunnel Bear. I was disappointed with the last series. Grossly disappointed with the ending. I won't say anymore. Judge for yourselves.
I have to agree with you about the let-down of the last series, but I believe they now have different writers and things have really picked up with several new actors playing new situations. It's still the best things I've watched in a long time here in the U.S.

The musical is a genre that needs to slither away and die in some gay haven far away. With luck it will take daytime TV with it.
