In endgame iron man makes suits for everyone traveling in time, all of those suits have an ant man head shape design , when captain America entered each timeline to return the stones whith the hammer, he created his own variants. Kang met one of those variants with the hammer and the ant man helmet and killed him. This is why King thought he had already killed antman because cap had the same suit

I think what I love about this scene is that you can tell Kang is messing with Scott on some level. After all, he walks into the calling him by name, and then when Scott says he called the Avengers, he pretends like he can’t tell which Avenger he is (which is a nice, subtle way of showcasing how he genuinely does not care, even hinting he took on a few Thors at some point), and yet when Scott ticks him off, he calls him Ant-Man by name. Nice little way of showcasing how little he thinks of both Scott and the Avengers as a whole.

Kang then responds with "You're not the one with the hammer." Which means that he had killed every other avenger and Thor was the only one to have come out alive in the encounter with Kang.
Marvel is really showcasing how powerful Kang is. They proved in phase three that Thor is the most powerful character yet but this single statement from Kang changes literally everything

This guy who played Kang, played him well... He was scary when he's calm, but anger and sadness got the best
