This was wrong on so many levels. Postal employees that refuse to read memos put out by their own employers. Cops that instead of enforcing actual laws (doing their job), would rather lecture law abiding citizens on other people's "feelings". And police departments crying about being under staffed, yet have plenty of officers to respond to people simply taking pictures (legal act).

This is what piss's me off the most, the cops could and should have explained to whoever made the call and complained that photography is not a crime instead of rushing right over and wasting precious tax payer dollars trying to step all over peoples basic rights and freedoms. The second officer is for officer safety. In hb they use a cad system that ranks calls on a 1-5 more than likely the idiot supervisor called in with some key words that got it ranked as a 3. the sergeant was just there to make sure his guys had the support they might need if they werent sure of soemthing

This is what piss's me off the most, the cops could and should have explained to whoever made the call and complained that photography is not a crime instead of rushing right over and wasting precious tax payer dollars trying to step all over peoples basic rights and freedoms. Further more, why did they not interview the complainant first prior to approaching the camera man? Because that would and should have ended the investigation right there but of course an authority abuser can never miss a chance to assert their authority and give their unwanted lecture's. I love the way Phil speaks to these guys. If they show him respect, he is also respectful but will not tolerate when they do not. Good job as always Philip. You are among the better auditors and I enjoy your work.

LEO's are just a slight step ahead, which is SAD, seeing how LEO's are SUPPOSED to know the law... Thank YOU, HDCW, for retraining the Citizens on the Constitution!

Nicely conducted. I liked your point about "creating a disturbance". And on another point, it never ceases to amaze me on how many law enforcement officers get deployed to handle these issues. There seems to be no common sense when using public resources in appropriate proportion relating to handling these things. Thanks for posting.

The second officer is for officer safety. In hb they use a cad system that ranks calls on a 1-5 more than likely the idiot supervisor called in with some key words that got it ranked as a 3. the sergeant was just there to make sure his guys had the support they might need if they werent sure of soemthing

Postal workers are worried about getting caught slacking off on the taxpayers' multi-billion $$$ bailout.
When cops respond and don't know the law they should call a supervisor or city attorney before babbling verbally for 15 minutes. They'll never learn.

All Auditors should get a name tag "Good Citizen" so when you ask them for their name and they point at their tag or ask you for your name point at your tag or tell them you can call me "Good Citizen"

Its kind of a respect thing. Respect people privacy. I get it though its legal but stil. Just trying to get a reaction from a guy thats just trying to do his job. With all the crazy stuff going on these days. I understand why the post office workers are paranoid. Just doing this for views. Hes actually the one wasting public funds wasting time with him.
