"I tried calling him on the brother hotline. He didnt pick up." Had be DEAD 😂
Haha, Foreman from season 1 would've been appalled. Here he doesn't even blink and had a witty retort ready. House broke him down over the years.💀
@@Ronarch2671 Actually, he strengthened him and made him even using his wit. It’s maybe unpleasant at first, but helped him to handle such situations better.
Not quite at the level of their white board/black marker exchange, though.
Interferons only work about 50% of the time for Hep C. Today were use DAA’s (direct-acting antivirals) they are way more effective than interferons and they cause fewer side effects.
Perhaps there have been some gains made in the last 10+ years since House went out of production,@@jamielancaster01 ?
Masters was almost like a temporary reality check for the show. Like, “wait, this is ridiculous”
Seems like that happens to every new character that meets House. Although Masters was the only one that seemed genuine about it.
Temporary.
She was the worst character. Almost ruined the show
@@GravellordNitoDude I gotta disagree, I thought she was really awesome.
@@Profile__1 I mean, that's fair. I'm just wondering if the writers knew from the beginning that she would end up being this polarizing
I love how House went to the trouble of pretending to drink coffee from the mug before throwing confetti on Masters
She missed the little things that matter.
“If I say something inaccurate assume it’s for comic effect” cold line lol
Love her or hate her, Masters' sheer naivete was written far more *consistently* than Cameron's.
For simple people, that's better
I mean, she was literally more naive than Cameron. Masters was a literal child afraid of even bending the rules but Cameron did it plenty of times and stuck to her principles. Cameron was emotionally invested in every patient, Master's was just a rule follower, the teacher's pet.
@@trippinhard250 cute though (just don't look at recent pictures of her)
@@Phreak0matic I bet noone wants to look at your pictures too
@@trippinhard250 You contradict yourself though. You say Cameron broke the rules yet stuck to her principles which is mutually exclusive. Cameron was shown as hypocritical many times, esp. when leaving Chase. She also cares about appearances aka seeming ''moral'' to people. I also think it's not fair to reduce Masters to a ''teacher's pet'', I mean she obviously cares for her patients too.
I love how she is completely unaware that she is in THEE institution for medical malpractice
I love how you put two Es on THEE. lol 🥰
I love it when the newbie tells the boss to shut up.
Did you just 'Shhhuush' me?! and then she does it AGAIN, im Dying.
"Yeah, if I say something wrong, assume it's for comic-effect, then laugh, because it's funny." OML
I love how house lets his doctors make mistakes to learn instead of just overruling them
No he doesn't let them make mistakes he teaches them to fight. Anytime when they don't defend their opinion House walks all over them
Masters was that character you really didn't appreciate enough until after she was gone. She presented a great contrast to the sarcastic cynicism of House and the team who was used to his antics. Really enjoyed her time on the show.
I never appreciated her.
No she was just fucking annoying
Still dont
LOL, you are very funny!
All I know is she is not what I would want as my Doctor.

That camera pan at 6:52 was genius
Thanks for pointing that out. I'm not good at it, but I love learning about cinematographic techniques that improve a show.

"This is Interferon, it delays the onset of rigor mortis" now THAT'S a line
Master is such a wonderful character. she was there and gone so fast I was furious
better than a character who stuck around too long and was not a good addition. her time was spent well
She was a more interesting Cameron. She was a naive genius. Perfect foil for house. I would have liked her to stick around and get more morally compromised up until the last season. Then you never have to have the boring prison doc from season 8, who was a less interesting cameron.
@@xdearlifex Why does everyone feel the need to compare her to cameron lol. Cameron was neither a genius nor a moral crusader. Cameron had normal human morals, not absolute morals, and her shtick was the internal conflict with her past that caused her to behave strangely in the present. Her character was as different from Martha as any other character on the show.
Masters was a breath of fresh air for this show
So House was pretending it's coffee when it's actually confetti...😂

E.coli on lettuce comes from feces...from animals. 😅

I loved Masters. Her character survived on cool takes and facial expressions.
"Rules are just helpful guidelines for stupid people who can't make up their own mind" 😂

Always glad for fresh House episodes!
House throwing confetti and Masters franticly trying to get it off is such a cute moment.
No wonder she was my 2nd favourite House show crush.

I definitely liked Masters more than Cameron, I lked her more in a few episodes then I liked Cameron in 6 seasons
I liked early seasons 'damaged widow' Dr. Cameron more than her, but not later seasons 'Chase's love interest' Dr. Cameron.
Cameron just isn't likeable.
They both were just dripping with that neediness and do-gooder to feel better about myself issue. They were both fucking annoying.
Finally Masters clips, really enjoyed this arc especially "Last Temptation".
How many high functioning heroin users are there. House who is a high functioning heroin user: “quite a few”

Masters was so utterly adorable in this first episode. A baby-faced, auburn haired, brown-eyed cutie!
Lol... So simp...
this dude's a creeper
she was also portraying a 17 year old, you creep.
Guess what idiot fanboys? She was 27! And she looked it. She was hired because she looked youthful, but she did _not_ look 17.
Besides there's nothing at all wrong with describing a 17 year old girl like that. Prudes.
And double-besides, she's married to that genuine creep David Cross..
@@skytest7286 Amber Tamblyn was 26-27 when they filmed this episode.
It doesn't matter how old they say her character is, that doesn't change her and make her that age.
"He's paralyzed, but not enough to avoid watching you stand up."
Amber Tamblyn is such a great actress. I miss not seeing her every week on TV.
This ep was fantastic, masterful, and Masters had a great story arc overall, except that extremely disturbing thing she did at the end before reconnecting with her conscience😲

Sometimes I wish we could just get a character that says to House "Pretend I know what all of that means" 😂😂😂
For which part? all of what he said about possible diseases and symptoms was pretty clear just from the names of them.

Heroes was that show until the strike. Could have been even more groundbreaking then it was.

The only time House asked Masters to have an opinion
I always told myself in this episode that Masters was the only one in the series that truly 100% matches House's medical genius and I think House liked that!!
Shown by throwing confetti at her😂😂😂 lol
Shes House with ethics. Thats why she left. Two Houses colliding is just a disaster.

Is the patient the same guy who played "the senator" in The Office?
Masters was just too precious and pure for House's team.

"Go to his house.." yeah, like doctors do that! 🤦♂
But these docs do it virtually every episode, so nothing new here. 🤷♀
Been watching your videos for a year now, or is it two? I can't remember.. but what I do remember is how much I enjoy them immensely. Thanks so much for the uploads. House was an instant favorite of mine in the beginning, but I actually stopped watching because I realized the chance of House ever redeeming himself was next to nothing. I wish they had taken his character in another direction. Keep the sarcasm and wit, but give the man a heart. After killing Wilson's fiancé I thought he might go down that road... but nope. Even in the end when he took off with Wilson it was more about House than Wilson.
you seem to have missed the whole point of the show
"more about House than Wilson".. House literally threw away his entire life to make sure Wilson is happy is his last five months. House only had one thing in his life which distracted him from the pain.. his medical puzzles and he threw away his career for the only real relationship he had with his best friend, House definitely had a heart. Practical people don't have psychotic breaks only those who feel deeply then bottle up their feelings tend to have them bursting out at a certain point.
@@vaish7504 I'm glad you wrote that... because I didn't realize he threw away his practice for Wilson. I thought he did that when he drove his car into Cutty's house. I didn't watch that season, but some scenes I saw on youtube... so I wasn't familiar with that. So do you believe that his character grew at all? I had thought he was on the run from the cops, or faked his own death, then caught up with Wilson. Almost seemed to me, under that assumption, that House's life was ending along with Wilson.
I completely forgot about Masters, she's so adorable lol.
Really poor episode. 90% of the suggested diagnoses don't make sense or would be ruled out in 10 minutes with simple blood tests. And the BS about the Hep C antibody not being detectable is utter nonsense.

S-7 is my favorite House season. Unfortunately her character wasn't around for the penultimate episode (the best in House history) but she was there for The Dig which is also one of the finest episodes.
You don't have to present the options quite the way Masters did and you can still be ethical. I guess they were trying to set up as Masters being intelligent in one way but stupid in another. Also it is a way of making House being unethical as being right. Believe it or not you can be intelligent, ethical, and present a patient with good care all at the same time. This is why I never could sit through House. I couldn't see a doctor committing crimes including assault and getting away with it and cheer for him.
