Hey brother, huge fan. I wondered if you tried filming the eye with probe lens starting close and then moving away from the subject. You get perfect sharpness on the eye and then just "unpull" focus as you move away from the eye. Then just reverse it in post.
Hey, that's exactly what I did! Not only are you right about nailing focus by doing this, it's also a bit safer by making sure you don't accidentally poke your subject's eye 😂

how to do that morbius eco location shockwave type effect?? a tutorial would be awesome
Basic explanation for now is that I created a circle shape with a squiggly line, and keyframed it so that it expands. The shape is a map to be used for Chromatic Displacement!
