Domestic Violence can be mental, physical, emotional, financial, manipulative, emotional-extortional, etc. The most dangerous time for a woman leaving a Domestic Violence situation is when she leaves - have a plan. The physical scars will heal, it's the emotional and mental abuse that takes time to overcome. Yes, I am a domestic violence survivor literally.

Thank you!!!! This is confirmation that the decision I made was the right thing to do. I recently walked away from an almost 6 year marriage that was abusive in every way. And yes lots of gaslighting, and manipulation occurred!!!! Even his family was toxic af. Im so happy I put me and my kids first and walked away!!! And I did it quietly with grace knowing damn well I wanted to go the f off!!!! But I will let God handle it cause he can humble us way better than any human could ever! Im super excited for my new journey and Im so happy that you've found your purpose in the midst of all of this. That's exactly how I look at it. That this all happened for me and not to me, so that I can move forward in my light and help others. I’m so happy you spoke up so many women try to hide it out of fear shame and many other reasons I personally haven’t experienced physical abuse but I have experience a version of verbal abuse and when I realized that person was who they showed me I removed myself from the situation before it grew or transformed into anything more but I’m so happy that you are standing in your truth and putting yourself and your children first and saying no more this is beautiful you are beautiful and continue to grow love you and prosper in every way 💗🥰💗

I'm going through this now, my kids asked why do I stay and I told them it was for them... Their response was so shocking... They don't want me to stay with their dad and now I'm trying to figure out how to leave.
