It's an industrial cooler and not a home cooler. But it can be used for cooling a full home. I am using a bigger model and it cools around 1000 sq feet area, with 3 bed rooms. The motor is very powerful and industrial grade that's why the sound is very high. If you buy a noise less cooler, you can't cool the whole house, only one room gets cooled. When the technician came, you might have got the small pipe fixed.

Bhai cooler to sahi hai, bas istemal karne ki jagah galat hai. Use it in hall. Pump bhi sahi hai but tum isse open area me rakho to water acche se evaporate honge. Closed room k liye pump high power jaisa behave kar raha hai. Ye industrial grade cooler hai, n woh nobe water outlet hoga else direct water pipe connection ka hoga 😅.
