3:46 fun fact, the gun that Ken Baldwin was using actually kept jamming the blanks and he was getting quite annoyed on camera, that they kept it in since it felt more authentic and well added to a stressful gun fight.
liar.
Cool fact dude
😂 sorry but out of ammo FxCk 😂
@@bigkid5226 To be fair, these blank adapted guns did jam a lot. I know the armorers who worked on this and blanks are dirty and foul up the actions pretty fast. We bring tons of extra guns on set to swap out when a firearm gets too fouled and starts malfunctioning. It's a plausible theory and I've never seen a director INTENTIONALLY film an actor faking a malfunction. They never consider it unless it's a major malfunction that's highlighted by the camera. In this case, it seems incidental, but it gives the hero more time to react. Thus I tend to side with the guy who thinks it was them just filming jams and using to good effect in the final edit (unless proven otherwise).
@@keirboyko nope, actually true
This was Robert Patrick the year before his breakout turn in T2, having the honour of being shot by Bruce Willis and then starring in the biggest movie of 1991.
Shot by the same gun he would later use in T2.
I never knew that, but him shooting a automatic weapon and a Glock at the same time he is a terminator
Robert Patrick has been killed off by 3 of the biggest 80s-90s action stars. He was killed by Bruce Willis in Die Hard 2, Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 2 and Sylvester Stallone in Copland.
@@scottknode898 I think
Robert Patrick was also in the movie, "D-TOX" with Sylvester Stallone.

@@bizzyizzy9526Indeed, he did. He was just much harder to kill.
A SITTING DUAAHHHH
Die Hard, Die Hard 2 and Die Hard with the Vengeance, Those Three are the best.
The last two are crap.
Part 4 was damn good, but all 3 were the best imo.
@@CraigMcfly1985 I agree
I would watch the first and third one together and then watch part two even though they bring up the first one in the movie. Make it happen all in one year the Christmas and Summer time so next Christmas Part two would fit better. Oh yeah John McClane did have a crappy holiday on Christmas and Summer So that is why his kids hate him so much in four and fifth movies. he never bought them presents. LOL
Die Hard
Die Hard 2: Die Harder
Die Hard with a Vengeance
Live Free or Die Hard (Die Hard 4)

His least terrible men, more like 😂
At least they killed 1 bad guy. Most movies would have the good guy team getting wiped out without killing anyone
They were against better men who had an prepared ambush.
@@vksasdgaming9472 and thing of it is, they weren't an actual swat team, they were just airport cops in uniforms. If an actual swat team had shown up to this incident, then things would be different.

Die hard 2, Robocop 2, Predator 2, another 48hrs. All badass.
Robocop 2 & Another 48 Hrs were both terrible.
The Rookie with Clint Eastwood was another good action flick of 1990
@@reneperez7903 i agree, Another 48 hours had more action than the first but it was way overdone
Lethal weapon 2
@@reneperez7903 I remember seeing this and Robocop 2 the same summer, this blew it fucking away. "Die Hard" 2 and 3 are both good, 4 and 5 are both shit, there's no middle ground.
It's interesting how the "not so good Die Hard sequel that was made in a rush" is still just head and shoulders above everything else today and it looks like they weren't even trying. It's got such energy, the use of slow-mo is restrained, it's chaotic but not confusing, there's actual rising tension as a likeable but non-essential character's life is in jeopardy.
For me its better then the first
The worst swat team in history😂😂
Amen !!! !!!
Lmfao
At least they got one of the bad guys, but it was dumb of them to group up like that.
Ahh so these were the clowns in Uvalde this past week.
The Terminator made him a sitting duck!!!
Love those magical movie Berettas.
They hold a lot more rounds than the real versions.
Damn, you beat me to it. I was going to say all I need is a Beretta 92F and I can take on all terrorists.
Those H&K MP5s can jam on occasion but not at the rate they do here as well
@@MrEtherguy no this version is the Beretta 92H the H is for Hollywood
That's right, you gotta love them.
@@thegadflygang5381 Yet , despite the jamming problem, the H&K MP5K is still my favorite submachine gun! I first saw it when I first saw this film when I was eleven years old, saw it again in the helicopter chase scene in "Terminator 2", the T-1000 was firing it in that scene.
I’m still convinced that John McClain could’ve stoped 9/11
I thought about the character right after it happened.
I’d like to think John McClane could’ve gotten everyone our of the building in time!
Man Bruce Willis was a real movie star 😍😍
Jonn Connor should have sent Bruce to protect him in T2.
I think Arnold did well.
@@isarrider4020 Bruce killed the T1000 in 2 second.
@@cricri6624I'd say that is more impressive than spending a whole movie trying to kill him, lol.
Schwarzenegger took care of that in part 2.
I laughed at how John is about to climb into the duct and laments his terrible luck: he wants a nice, quiet Xmas but noooo, he has to crawl in dirty vents to chase bad guys on Xmas! I feel for the guy.
I would’ve been tempted to say “hey nobody says that you have to do this McLean”.

I saw this in the theater when it came out everyone was clapping when McClane shot the last bad guy. Nobody ever claps at the movies anymore.
Thats because it will be disrespectful and undermining the confidence of the bad guys! 🙂
Have you not seen a marvel movie in the past 10 years? Everyone claps in those.
I would too, that's my FAVORITE part of this scene.
@@TheKt75 the bad guys deserve it.
Well, when I saw avengers end game everyone cheered when captain America wield thors hammer
From 1990 to 1996 there were some Great Films!!!!
How about through 2000 Kenneth
there are a lot of fun facts here:
1) the most obvious being that Robert Patrick played this terrorist right before he played T-1000 and this role helped him get that one. (he definitely stands out with his icy sinister look among the terrorists)
2) Robert Patrick actually did work as a house painter before acting
3) He's holding the same type of submachine gun he used in Terminator 2 when he flew the police chopper and fired on Arnold, Linda, and E. Furlong in the police van.
Robert Patrick, the underdog of 90s movie badasses. Got to compete with Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, and for what? To get slapped like a little child by Tony Soprano several years after
He got slapped with a phone (a bit worse than a twisted tea). I also met Robert Patrick a couple times, awesome guy.
Hahaha awesome
He was killed off by John Cena in The Marine and was a bad guy in the horror movie The Faculty. He was bad guys in several tv shows including an episode of Law and Order SVU as a sex offender. I remember him on tv shows like Burn notice and The Unit

I love this movie, but, even as a kid, I always asked myself these few questions:
"How many bad guys do you expect John McClane to kill with just his pistol?" & "Where does John McClane keep all of his ammo in case he ever runs out?".
Ikr! The fact that he only has 2 ammo magazines and has to use lots of bullets in this movie because the bad guys are more vicious is scary.

McClane with the Martin Riggs role from lethal weapon at 03:40
Bruce Willis was also considered for part of Riggs in Lethal Weapon in 1987 and turned it down and chose to do Die Hard released in 1988 while Mel Gibson was considered for John McClane but turned it down as did Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone and Harrison Ford who ended up appearing together in The Expendables 3
