Def needs a carb clean and sync, prob new plugs and a compression test. That thing does not sound healthy.

Mine had to have new rubbers in the CV carbs, then it ran really well

I had a purple and black, with the gaudy stickers, GSX600F years ago. One of the most underrated bikes ever; reliable, cruise at 90 mph all day and still gave 60 mpg.

The white is just wrong, its screaming for a special paint job, The mirrors are just wierd. I got a black with purple 600f same year. 15.000 at the moment, I got the feeling i can ride it for many years to come, I love the 90ies style, I like it even more than the hypersport style modern motorcycles.

My friend got a bike almost just like you ,it's just the 1992 katana version ,and it's black : TopSpeed Unknown =] (265+ kmph)
