I have had the dyson v6 for about 3 years and the other day I spilt some laundry powder so I decided to use the v6 to pick it up, when i started vacuuming I noticed that some of the powder came out of the dustbin so I thought that maybe I did not close it correct so i opend it and re closed it and vacuumed the rest of it and there was still some powder coming out then i realized that the seal at the bottom was not keeping it closed correct, I don’t use this vacuum anymore because of that problem

Very good hand held vacuum cleaner. Would have like to have a blower option, and, on the design side, I find the large cylindrical intake prohibitive in cleaning under certain household items ( furniture, wood stove etc)
Is this good for wooden floors? Or which one would you recommend? I don’t have carpets or pets.
You can use this machine on wooden floors, however you will have a spinning brush bar in the floor tool. If you're looking for something a bit more gentle, with no spinning bristles, look for a model such as the Absolute, which will include the soft fluffy roller head. This tool was engineered specifically for hard flooring.

What is the difference between the v7 advanced and the other v7 models?
The “V7 Advanced” is a V8.
Is the V7 Advanced a new version of the V7?
Yes, it is. The Dyson V7™ Advanced model comes with the new detangling motorbar cleaner head which is great for picking up pet or human hair.
Same Goes To Dyson V8.

That’s not the Dyson V7 the Dyson V7 hasn’t upgraded Yet but the v8 has
over price and battery die very fast 10-15 min and after few month after battery died completely
