    Nice video as always Sean. Looking forward to see how it performs now 😃

      Should do better. My plan was always to use steel bearings like my Hdp but it wasn’t going to do that out of the box 😂

      Guess it will give over 20 joule as it is now. The drum/cylinder might have to be opened up a tad if you want to shot steel balls. I had to open the chambers a little on mine otherwice the balls wouldnt fit.. Yes the 7,5 joule dont have enough power to blast steel balls😆. Looking forward to the shooting videos 😃 @@lesslethalfordummies

      @@runerebel8441not sure it will be 20j yet as i havent drilled the restrictor. If i do i think i will do 1mm like you did.
      My drum fits the 12.7mm very well now without any modifications. I can show on my next video.

    I also just bought my new tippman tipx and 2 long mag.

      Tipx is a great strong launcher. Over the Hdx or Byrna I would choose the Tipx.

    Your viewers do seem happy that you're finally reviewing the HDR range! Are you going to try and test the volume/capacity of both the 7.5j and 11j gas chambers?

    • @lesslethalfordummies
      @lesslethalfordummies  Před 8 měsíci +1

      It would seem like that right.
      I am going to wait until my update 11j valve shows up in a few weeks to do any comparisons. I thought a lot about using water to measure the volume but the co2 tube is steel and i dont think i want to jump start any corrosion even though it is black oxide coated.

    • @The_Viking_Highlander
      @The_Viking_Highlander Před 7 měsíci +1

      @@lesslethalfordummies Yeah that's fair enough. It's going to be a difficult thing to measure if you want to settle the arguement once and for all.

    Hi, updated valve( new valve) can be customized with power kit? If can, wich version is it, 7.5j or 11j? I have one of this and i don't know wich velocity it is. Thank you.

    • @lesslethalfordummies
      @lesslethalfordummies  Před 19 dny +1

      Is the powerkit necessary….no it is not.
      Look up the co2 cylinder. If you see a silver disk you have the 11/16j version.
      If there is no disk and just an open hole you have a 7.5j valve.

    I speak revolver... the _cylinder_ advancer is called ''the hand''

  • @FLAlesslethal
    @FLAlesslethal Před měsícem +1

    Hey Sean why did you put the 11j valve in. More room in the 7.5j valve?🤘😎👍💥

    • @lesslethalfordummies
      @lesslethalfordummies  Před měsícem

      Biggest reason was to get the threaded co2 restrictor. Second reason is this valve was the newest generation. Crimped, glued, threaded.

    • @FLAlesslethal
      @FLAlesslethal Před měsícem +1

      Gotcha my friend. It's funny you say that because I was thinking about purchasing a new 11j valve just to have the threaded restrictor for my other TR50. They both have the gen 3 triple with the crimp, thread and locktight but I want the threaded restrictor. Cool bro stay awesome!🤘😎👍💥

    Does this valve remove adds power to gun?

    hi shawn from las vegas your honest opinion which one better home defence Berna or HDX 68 my hdx 68
    i removed the restrictor

    • @lesslethalfordummies
      @lesslethalfordummies  Před 8 měsíci

      Depends. The Hdx is slightly more powerful using kinetics. The Byrna is great for pepper or if your aim is true, kinetic face shots.

    • @The_Viking_Highlander
      @The_Viking_Highlander Před 8 měsíci +1

      The HDR68 is better for HD with valve block and restrictor removed on HPA or 88g CO2.

    • @The_Viking_Highlander
      @The_Viking_Highlander Před 8 měsíci +1

      Or better still, the HDB68 for a higher shot capacity.
