I would be the dissenting voice in part... I've never been a fan of Stirling at all, I find her incredibly boring musically, more of a circus style live act... albeit an entertaining circus.
Jorge adds all the value here imo, as he does to so many uninspired pop tracks. Ironic Stirling names a piece "underground" considering how much she's stolen from Damien Escobar's act and style... proof you only need to jump around with lady bits to impress people.

I just looked up her reaction because of your comment (right after looking up Underground itself) and O.M.G. I love how much *she* loves the cover - absolutely they need to do a collab because their styles mesh so WELL! The freneticism and energy between the two, and she so appreciated what El Estepario added to it she was like a kid in an aural candy store. And I love that he's a fan of her work too. So good.

As a drummer myself, I've often noticed that the better the drummer is, the smaller the kit they actually use. There's a big difference between playing fast, and playing a rhythm that becomes music in itself.

The Great Thing of watching his videos, is that you can see how much he is enjoying his drumming. Thats awesome. You can see he isn't just doing for the sake of doing it, but because he loves doing it.
I'm guessing the only reason this fella isn't traveling around the world in a rock band is SOLELY because he doesn't want to do that. Holy. Shit. I got my kids a nice drumset after watching him. That is epic. EPIC.

You say you're a drummer and don't really care about music too much outside of the technical aspect of drumming... but this proves otherwise my man. This is as refined as it gets musically IMO. This shit moved me and not just the violin either.

Just found this dude and have been watching nonstop for over a week. I was so entranced that I realized I've never commented. Jeeezus this shit is amazing. This shit should be illegal. Watch other drummers react to him. They all feel the same. Yes, I went down that rabbit hole too. They all give him mad props and link to his channel. This dude earned everything that he has worked for. Simply amazing. You can see the enjoyment he gets from making music. I hope that one day I will find my muse. Thank you El Estepario
I've already gone down the rabbit hole. I've watched other drummers react to him. They were just as amazed as I was. Iv been watching non stop for 3 weeks now. I can't get enough. Check out his shorts. And his one handed drumming. Freaking amazing.
If you watch enough of his videos he will say that he doesn't care about music at all. He cares about drumming and the technical aspect of it and that's it. He has zero interest in playing in a band, or making music of any kind - but after watching this particular video, I'm not entirely sure if he just doesn't "know" it or he doesn't believe it, but this dude is MUSICALLY gifted just as much as he is gifted with his technical skill set. The nuance and "intent" on display here is like nothing I've ever seen in drumming and I've been drumming a long, long time. The subtleties in his snare work that lead to perfectly precise and perfectly executed fills that "lift" the music, not hide it, is the work of a musical genius. This guy is absolutely fucking astonishing. When Slipknot themselves asks you to cover one of their most difficult songs with one hand, you're not just great, you're a league above.
Just amazing skill and the amount of emotion he is putting into this. You can tell he is in that zone where there is nothing but the art. Watched this like a dozen times back to back and still cant get enough.

There isn't a better way to spend your time than watching this man play the drums. You can't over state how technically precise he is. Wow...and damn. All while his body is so relaxed. The art and evolution of playing the drums just advanced a bit. We're lucky enough to get to see it in real time.

You and Danny Carey are probably the two drummers with the most enhancing drumming I know of. You take it so far above being a rythmic instrument, and turn it into an almost melodic instrument in the rythm section. I bow down to you, Groovefather.
