I passed the other day, but I still watch the odd vid of yours when it pops up! Yeah, with my L plates drivers never ever gave way to me or helped me out at all. They just took advantage so would speed through fast even when it was my priority. Yeah, I imagine it'd be exactly the same with P plates. Not a good idea. just making yourself a target for morons (of which there's millions!)
Hey Dave sorry I have been quiet, crazy amount going on at the moment here, you know how life is, as soon as things are going amazing it has to throw a few curve balls at you to keep you on your toes lol.. Great video and very interesting stuff about the driving tests and those people that do that, its a shame things are in such a mess. Maybe the reason these people still get away with doing this with the tests is the DVLA or whom ever have not got the capability of tracking or stopping them, or somehow these people take a burden away from the dvla or something and that is why they are not so fast in seemingly wanting to sort it all out properly, who knows. The situation here is very bad with test waiting times as well but it is because there are just to many people needing tests and having lessons but not enough examiners. The waiting time has been crazy since covid back logs but I think covid is used as an excuse now, because that has been over for ages, yet the waiting times are still crazy. Oh I went for a really long drive yesterday with just my son with me in the car and I have to say a big thanks for all of the bits on your videos that I took and just practising them and being in a calmer frame of mind etc, the drive was not only great but really enjoyable which before, I just do not think it would have been. So thanks so much for helping with making that possible for me. I am still working on pictures and bits, I am just away from home so often at the moment and work is all over the place, ive no idea when I am coming and going and have so much going on but I will sort them as promised. Oh I saw a funny thing earlier when at work and driving as well, a certain kind of German speed camera, it is literally a trailer with a box on it and they cleverly hide these trailers between work vehicles or other vehicles and I am telling you unless you exactly what one looks like, you would mistake this speed trap for a trailer on someones car, its crazy how they look and how hidden they can be really. Anyway it is great to see the sub number rising and the views too, you really deserve it and people really should subscribe because by doing so and by commenting with requests or with general thoughts etc, I can see future videos and information being so helpful to so many people, the videos so far certainly have for me and I am sure there is a lot more I can take from your videos now and in the future as well.
Hey Paul. Thanks again for your input on the comments I'm actually finding it really interesting in hearing about driving in Germany. Yes it would be really nice to get some more comments .I'm so happy that you are seeing an improvement in your driving and with your confidence is really great to hear. If when your daughter starts I hope she benefits aswell. It's really interesting to hear the test situation is equally as bad in Germany and I think you nailed it with your comment on covid being used as an excuse. I've been teaching for 38 years now and it's never been this bad .as I've previously mentioned if there is anything in particular you would like me to video let me know .look forward to seeing the pictures but whenever you have the time. Don't want to sound like a broken record but big thanks again for your continued support. Yes I'm slowly getting there would be great to get to 150 or even 200 . @@dcdriving2463 Oh believe me, your subs and then people comments will all come, I have fishing channels I watch that started out just like you have with theirs and their concerns about it being slow at the start and lack of people commenting were all similar as well, they now run into the high 100s and even low 1000s in subs and the comments flow, it was just the start and beginning times that seemed endless that but as it did with them, it will happen and all come great for you I am certain of it. Anyway I love supporting you and your channel simply because of how much you just want to help people, you take your own time out to do this and even when it seems slow, you continue to put the effort in and continue to ask people watching to comment and well, just want to help and so supporting and being supportive is a small thing to give in return for just how much you have helped with my driving so far and how much more I am sure you will help with it as time goes on. Oh do not worry as soon as my daughter starts, I will make sure she is watching often and that she asks any questions she has directly on your videos, of course I have two other daughters and although they have no indicated yet that they are ready, I am sure some day they will take lessons as well and I will do the same thing. Yep well the test situation here but not only tests, lessons as well are in a mess with waiting times, the same actually goes for theory tests here, from some people I speak with the waiting times for them seem to be very long as well and the same thing is said, covid back logs caused it all but the simple fact is , there are 100 people wanting a test to every 1 space and examiner I think, there just are not enough examiners, yet like most things they seem to want to fix and deal with things that do not need fixing, and leave the real issues on the side line. I think with me I'm continually questioning myself on how I do things .but the way I see it is if 1 person like yourself gains a little bit from it then it's all worthwhile. Like I previously mentioned I've been teaching since 1987 and still take great pleasure In getting pupils through there test and helping people with there driving.
