The following video documents my one month supplementing journey of trying to raise my level of testosterone by removing any vitamin and mineral deficiencies. I received blood test results that told me I was deficient in Vitamin D, Magnesium and Zinc.
The supplements I used are from Nootropics depot. A company I have used for 7 years and never been disappointed. Powder forms are cheaper but unless you are going to put the powder into capsule form manually I would recommend the tablet forms.

Zinc 20-40 mg
Magnesium glycinate 1.5 grams (which should give about 250 milligrams of elemental magnesium I think)
Vitamin D3: 10,000 IUs (+K2)
Did you mean 250 mg?
@@eldrickejleestyeah
Yeah, don’t take 10,000 IUs of d3. That’s borderline dangerous and doesn’t have ANY scientifical backing.
that magnesium gives me farts for hours LOL
10k of D3 is too much. 2k - 4k is way more than enoguh.
Thank you for actually putting in the work and not shilling people TRT
Honestly I believe they're always going to say people have low T. That's how they make their money
He shills for a specific supplement company, which you should have noticed after skipping to the end when he opened that drawer.
This channel is amazing, I'm honestly surprised your videos aren't racking up 100k plus on each video. Incredibly insightful and detailed not to mention the professional editing quality. I hope you upload more videos
Thanks for the kind words, far too many hours went into the editing on this vid haha. If the uploads were constant I am sure the views would be too
For real
@@ConnorCurtis your video ideas are great, the visuals are great but try to bring a little more life into your speaking then your videos would be top 1%
The fact that this vid has 23k views is a pretty good outcome, if you look at his subscribers, almost 100% 😮

bro how is your channel not popular yet
ive binged watch ur vids i enjoyed them all!
on the internet, there's alot of big guys giving fitness advice.
then there's small guys who make videos about all the topics already discussed.
do you want to see the guys who started all this, or do you want to see the australian skinny kid who went on reddit and is piecing it together?
alot of people would rather listen to the guy who is already actually jacked and muscular about fitness
you are the first person, in years after watching so many videos that have explained the reasons behind D3, Zinc & Magnesium. PLUS, the have ACTUAL RESULTS & NUMBERS. This first video I am seeing from you, I will take a look at the Tongkat one.
Extremely high quality vid. Subbed
What a great video. I’ve tried this and just elevated myself to the next level. Keep up the good content.
the best video I've come across about increasing testosterone. easy to understand and follow for anyone who wants to
You will always increase the majority of your hormomone production if you go from being deficient/malnourished to actually consuming what your body needs
@@simonslvberg520 that's true that's what I've felt recently from eating more whole foods
OMG really, he was sick, he fixed his nutritional deficiencies and got himself in to the NORMAL RANGE..... this is not a magical hack that is going to give you superhuman testosterone levels... think critically
second vid after seeing the hip flexor one, and very glad I subscribed. I really appreciate your commitment to knowing the science, and giving all these practices plenty of time to reveal their true long-term effects. Fitness content creators who barrel through one click-bait "experiment" after another really agitate me so this was refreshingly helpful haha

As you take more Zn, check your copper levels. Zn and Cu have negative correlation. While excess of either can be bad, low values are also not good.
thanks for mentioning :)
Yes indeed like Ca/ Mg and Na/K they need balance
what is Na/K?@@geraldfriend256
Exactly, another reason to prioritise real food over supplements. eg, shellfish is high in zinc AND copper
Yep, you're all correct. It's a shame not many people know this.
Subbed..Great informative vid mate looking forward to the tongkat vid
I first saw your account with the training hip flexors. Awesome content. I'm gonna put it to the test as well.
Thank you so much for doing all this. I’ve been feeing a lowered level of testosterone. I’m going to try this too
Thanks man. Great info and well said. Helpful. I'm going to give it a go.
As a woman, I can confirm Zinc definitely affects your hormones in a good way 😊.
It helps also to eat (1) whole avocado daily, which has very high Zinc levels- most definitely 😊.
Good shout. Plus avocado is a great natural source of boron 👍
Avocado is to expensive for me eat daily ... But I eat a bananas daily which not same expensive ...
It's about balance beetween zinc and copper, you should not consume high zinc doses. Copper is also important for connective tisue creation for example. learn more about it, no single vitamin/mineral works alone, and megadosing is not very good long term!
Yep an avocado once time daily, It means 60$ CAD monthly

Well done, God bless for sharing hopefully people will try it.
Great topic, information and advice 👏 Thank you.

This is such a good video!
Thanks!
Superb and very useful info
I viewed T related content for over a year and got nowhere.
When i discovered the truth about testosterone I raised my total T from 334 to 960 in 3 months.
This book should be essential reading for any man.

what is it truth
That there are no quick fixes or miricle supplements. Truth is much different. Most content is either clickbait to earn ad revenue or to sell wonder supps or solutions. Avoiding that approach was a game changer
Good stuff!

Really enjoyed this video !
Couple of silly questions- did you get your blood tested by your GP ? If so did you ask for a specific test for testosterone levels?
Thanks and keep up the great work 👍🏻👍🏻 !!
Dudeee where have you been all these years ty so much🙏🙇♂️
Great video. I saw a podcast where cold plunges, then workout doubles testosterone in the 1,000's (cold showers are tough... 8-10 min week). Also Dimm to lower estridial, boost free Test. With magnesium, personally, I buy the cheap tablets (mag glycinate, mag malate, mag taurate, and mag citrate), then rotate per meal (although do have the others). They are cheaper as single dosages. Also, generally I take 600-1,000 of elemental magnesium. The percent of magnesium that is digested varies, so I try to get a 400-600 mg digested dosage spread out during day.
Another supplement not talked about is omega 3's. In high doses per Rhonda Patrick podcast - maybe 2-4 grams, it actually protects muscles from lack of exercise. I also take ALA omega 3's (flax seed oil) as ALA has unique benefits for the body that DHA & EPA don't provide. It's amazing that know one mentions ALA benefits, only ALA's crappy conversion rate to EPA... Remember 20 years ago researchers were saying EPA didn't do anything. Today they say it is more important than DHA.
Great information.
Just a little comment on estrogen since you said it may be bad to see an increase, the way males produce most of their testosterone is using an enzyme called aromatase that turns testosterone into estrogen. A balance between E and T is very important and doubling your total T while only adding 20% E would probably be a good outcome (since more testosterone = more aromatase activity which leads to more strogen). Altough you may wanna look into other factors that increase estrogen outside of testosterone, namely food/water from plastic containers (Especially reheating food in plastic containers can really mess up hormones) and tap water disinfectants like hypochloride and chloroamine.
Interesting - my estrogen levels as a man is high and so was my cortisol ( 500 )
I’m a realky good cyclist but I need to sleep most afternoons and my T levels are around 300 - I’ve been to so many doctors who do not listen !!!
@@judd7699 Get some Adex to control your estrogen, its not good and comes with a lot of issues. you gotta keep them under control.
I'm not sure in here, but after my research to balance testosterone vs. estrogen
I came with Tongkat Ali (200:1). Just a week using it... too early to say anything of any effect
It is fully herbal, organic and a mix is more than impressive, reading a label from Herba
Has anyone did it, for example 3 months (some dudes around say that it is aphrodisiac, hold your horses. I don’t think so)
Appreciate your experience
Perhaps you could look at aromatase inhibitors such as Boron (9mg), selenium and Kelp.
Thank you friend for your care
Secret gem channel, probably won't be a secret gem for long...
Fingers crossed 🤞
Daily dose:
2 tab - vitamin D + k2 a day with sun
1.5g - magnesium glycinate (nootropic depot)
1 or 2 tab - microzinc (nootropic depot)
Missing boron and copper
Amazing stuff
Zinc needs copper to work sustainably in the body
Good analysis of cause and effect... Keep up the good work
Thanks, will do!
Thanks for the video, At what time you was taking each supplement?
Just subbed bro. Great vid.
Thanks for the sub!
Really interested in seeing what other supplements do to you. Subacribing for more, keep the quality of the videos high!
I'm 72 years old.I had Prostate Cancer and my testosterone is non-existent.Well this stuff help that is my questlook for your next video
0:37 HORAY!
Five years ago the moment I started powerlifting I started taking all three of these supplements.
Zinc and Mag can easily become deficient not just through mineral depletion but also stress. We waste minerals and especially B vitamins like crazy. Zinc also needs adequate stomach acid to be absorbed, especially taking it in a meal without phytates (nuts/seeds/grains/legume) otherwise absorption is impeded upwards of 80%. So if chronically stressed or deficient in other cofactors for stomach acid production zinc absorption falters.
Zinc creates syomach acid
where can i learn more about stomach acid production?
Thanks for the Ronaldo leg work out bro i work it out in july 1 Thanks im 8 years old and this just a picture of my dad and baby sister but ty so much🙏
Great and informative video, thanks. I've also had great results with this vitamin stack -- D3+K2, ZMA, and Tongkat Ali. I've been hearing good things about L. Ruteri's effects on male function over a long period; curious if you've experimented with that?
What is ZMA?
@@JohnW335andTele Zinc Magnesium Aspartate. Contains zinc, magnesium, and vitamin B6
Did you try adding Boron to this stack?
Great vid👍
Thanks!
hey mate what service did you use to get the test results ?
Finally someone that uses actual blood work to show progress and proof Vs people just telling you it works.
DHEA!! Its the mother of all hormones, that your body uses to create the others, I would also suggest checking yolur "female" hormones for balance.
Hey mate, great vid. Where did you go to get your blood tests done? I live in Melbourne and am wondering if I could go get some done at a similar place. Cheers
Local GP. They will send you to Dorevitch Pathology anyway. Tell the GP what you want to test for. Majority is covered under Medicare.
That’s what I’ve always done to get these results.
Fellow Aussie here. Where do you get your bloods done?
Hey Connor, how did order your blood tests? Most GP's don't seem to run blood work here un Australia unless you are diagnosed with an "actual" condition?
Do you edit your videos ? How did you get so good at it ? I want to start a channel but I shudder at the digital magic you guys exude.
I suck at editing haha I’m trying to hire an editor because it takes so long and it’s unforgiving. But I did this vid and it took way too long
where do you do your blood work? doc? or online somewhere?
Def interested in your results - my T level sits at 300 snd I know / feel my system has been depleted by chemicals in water / food / plastics..
Great video thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Ive been taking a range of male health supplements based on gorrila minds "lock and load". Im glad to know some of them boost test too. My stack is vitamin d3, zinc, selenium, lecithin, l-arginine, l-lysine, pygeum and saw palmetto. When i remember to be consistent with them it helps a lot.
Nice to hear, might have to give it a try
You’re taking both arginine and lysine? Why?
@@teddybearroosevelt1847 because we can't all be experts like you 🤣🤣🤣
Palmetto affect your testosterone!
I knew these minerals where important but i don't think I've ever tested for them. I will be getting these checked that's for sure as I'm monitoring my test levels.
I'm training for a power lifting comp... I'm definitely going to try this
You mentioned in the beginning of the video you had to do a few different tests to get the full scope, as someone also in Australia I’d be keen to hear just what you asked for and where you went to get these tests done?! Cheers!
Hey mate I did these tests through imedical because gp already did a few tests for me recently.
If you go on their site you can pick and choose what tests you want done, you go get the blood drawn then usually under 24 hours you get the results
what do you think about vitamin e and its correlation to teste
Would these supplements work to raise testosterone in anyone or did you use these in reaction to your bloodwork and this combination maybe not work if someone did not have the same deficiencies as you did?
Hey mate as a fellow aussie I am wondering how you get such regular tests. Do you just have a good GP or do you use a third party like imedical
So people generally take blood tests in the morning? Can you do a video or give information on how your t levels were in the afternoon. How much do they drop by? Thanks
When I started hrt,I was told that the endocrine society says to be tested before either 10 or 11 am.
you should totally make a video about strengthening your knee or something idk (my knee is not in pain)
Are you taking magnesium and zinc at the same time?
your SHBG went up?? isnt that bad? it sounds like its soaking up all your free test? do you do an ulta low carb? i heard extremes like that can make it go high
Alomg with those vitamins, taking DHEA will also help your body produce testosterone, since the body uses DHEA to make testosterone and estrogen.
So should I get capsules or just powdered??
How many hair folicles were permantely lost during this process?
Can you send links to where you get all your testing (I'm aus based).
What blood test did you get originally?
Did you get more power more healthier better immunity? Whats rhe benefit besides increase on paper
Where do you get bloods in Australia without a doctors referal mate?
What test are you using to find all of this?
In Germany they have 820 nmol/l as a healthy sufficient level. Values below 550nmol/l is considered a deficiency.
These values are based on more recent research and they are higher that thresholds in other countries.
You should research gary brecka, you will like it. Great video btw
What test’s should i get to identify the reasons behind low test levels?
Question, did you take them all at the same time or space them out? I read before to not take magnesium and zync at the same time as they fight for absorption but idk...
You can take them at the same time or space them out as suits you best. They don't compete.
My advice is to get them in powder so you can take them throughout the day instead of taking a single big dose.
Am taking both at the same time,,, it's best 👌 👍
Bruh whats the best time to take zinc supplements. And also with meals or after meals?
Which company is doing your blood tests ?
Hey man does nootropic depot have an Australian website or you pay import fees?
I just wait until I need a few things then pay the postage
How many tests? This can change just based on time of day and food too
I have crohns and at 39almost died from an abcess. Had been sick and malnourished for atleast 10years. Since I found out I started taking vitamin d,zinc, magnesium everyday and at 42 my life has done a 180. I embarrassed to say but sex life was not good..but now I have high testosterone and perform like I did in my 20s. Oh and my wife likes it too.
How much do you think it’s important to check your testosterone levels ? Was it something you did because u didn’t feel good or just for information/curiosity?
I think it is only important if you feel there is something wrong and start presenting with symptoms of low testosterone. I didn’t feel like there was something super wrong with me but I like to get blood work 1 time per year and it flagged as low so I did some investigating.
boron could be another one to add
Thanks!
If you fix other nutritional deficiencies, like the magnesium you should probably not need to supplement vit d? If you are getting sun that is. Boron is another interesting one btw you seem to have missed, have seen some interesting case studies of middle aged people using this and it completely re-balancing their hormones.
Boron is AMAZING!
Boron is another mineral that has been depleted from soils.
I was experiencing left knee and right hip pain for a couple of weeks, thinking that the pain would eventually go away but NO it did not.
It was so painful that I couldn’t walk, stand, sit or sleep for long.
I was going to make an appointment the following morning to finally see a doctor about it when I thought I would put in my symptoms in CZcams search and Boron kept coming up. I went right out and bought some.
Within several hours 80 percent of my pains were GONE! The following morning (second pill) 100 percent of my pains went away COMPLETELY!
I thought 2 weeks later maybe that daily dosage was no longer needed. And about 2 days later ALL the pains came back.
Needless to say I now take 3mg of Boron daily. I have had no bad side effects since I started taking them for 3 years now.
I read you can safely take up to 9mg daily. I still only need to take (1) 3mg of Boron daily.
@@tillygirl7450i have taken up to 100 mg daily with no noticeable side effects
So for how many months between the blood tests and while taking these vitamins?
1 month
tq for sharing apreciate
I would test again at a later date. Any gains in testosterone brought about by external means will be fleeting. If your levels were so low to begin with, you should find out why from a doctor and possibly go on TRT.
This makes no sense. Fixing mineral deficiencies was the problem of why it was low and he proved it by fixing the deficiencies and taking a test showing his testosterone in range.
@@dis4980 Like I said...its fleeting. A low testosterone level can't be fixed permanently by adding minerals.
@@marcus_ohreallyus Yes it would if it was the lack of that mineral causing the downstream issue with testosterone production.
what caused your testosterone to decrease? please answer, was it an underlying medical condition like diabetes or something else. because for mine it is the diabetes, i wanna know if i can do the same process as you.
My total is also around 250-300
Hoping to not have to do injections, i'm quit smoking, now i'm back on diet, and trying to cut down nightly alcohol.
Wish me luck.
What times of the day did you take these different supplements?
Always in the morning maybe magnesium in the evening
Whats your sleep like? if you get shit hours sleep and take the text, it will be awful, and if you get a good nights sleep it can fluctuate wildly. Most doctors i asked refused to authorize a testosterone score for someone my age because he said the numbers are so variable that it just messes with your head
There is suppression of the SHGB feedback loop when using tongak ali and fedosia agrestis (butchered the name) - works but beware of test suppression
Hello. Do you know how to reduce SHBG and increase estradiol? My estradiol is below normal, I have never taken anti-estrogens, perhaps my estrogen knocked down by vitamin-mineral complex, since the brands were unpopular and I did not have these pills analyzed in the laboratory. I have average total testosterone, but high SHBG, so free testosterone is at the lower limit of normal. I have zero libido, I think due to low estradiol or low free testosterone.
Take 6-10 mg of Boron to reduce SHBG which will make more Free Testosterone also when you increase total testosterone you Estrogen will increase automatically!
Also look in to Proviron it binds to SHBG and lowers it and releases more Free testosterone!
Boron is no 1 supplement to decrease SHBG.
How do you test your blood levels?
This video is sick!
Thanks bro ❤
Do you think taking a good quality multivitamin with all of these and a couple of others would just be the best and easiest way ? I don’t have money to do blood tests..
Do not take multivitamins.
Zinc Picolinate is the best form of zinc. Never take more than 30mg a day without testing.
The best way to increase magnesium is by applying it transdermal, it's also the cheapest way.
Simply mix Magnesium Chloride flakes with water and put it on your skin.
Rinse after 20min.
Do not take Vitamin (Hormone) D supplements, they are toxic.
If you can't utilise the sun, get a UVB Lamp.
Have you tried Cistanche for boosting testosterone?
Not yet
Does anybody know what blood test he’s bought? I’ve been looking different videoes for some time now

His check up with full treadmill and blood work he has the heart and lungs of a healthy 23 year old. I love him completely and its my job in life to keep him healthy. He is beautiful and I am determined to keep him as long as possible. Yes he he still has high testosterone.
