I agree with all, but the railroad rifle in full auto can only be used in vats. It’s got the highest recoil in the entire game with no way to control it outside of vats
It's not that bad. But I agree it's not for everyone. New event railroad rifle hits hard ar 1002 dam a shot
The enclave flamer is definitely one of my favorites. I have one with the furious effect , faster fire rate and 25% bonus damage while aiming.
I had been playing Stealth Commando Fixer for years and recently hit lvl 300 and decided to go for a change last week. After trying the LMG, automatic Plasma Rifle, and the Elder's Mark, I decided to give the Railway Rifle a go. Absolutely love it so far. Have one single shot Primed (mainly for farming ammo). The other is a Quad Automatic and it's hilariously enjoyable. Dropped all of my stealth perks for QoL (still not PA player) and it has really been a real change in how I play. I feel a lot more useful in daily ops & events.

Then you should try the Anchorage ace smg. That thing is nuts.
You can usually find all of these weapons except the enclave plasma flamer in players' vendors. Getting good legendary effects is the hardest part.
4:45 A lot of people don't realize, but if you have an enclave flamer, and you keep it in pistol form. You can the equip the crackshot perk which increases the range of ALL pistols by 30% (to include your enclave flamer). I have a pistol build that walks around with two pistols: AAE Crusader pistol, and an AA FFR Enclave flamer pistol. One of my FAVORITE characters to play
I always use my railway rifle while stealthing. Never had an issue.
I 100% agree with the list. Although I'm a Handmade kind of guy (RW for bossing). That ADS accuracy will never let you down 😊
My list would be:
1. Railway
2.Elder's Mark
3.Fixer
4.Handmade
5.Enclave Plasma/Tesla
The AA2525 Elder's Mark is absolutely insane and better than the Q2525 Fixer IMO.
Elders was an honorable mention tbf but i dident include it because the submachine guns themselves dont really ... measure up compared to the rest.

It's basically luck and perseverance, keep doing quests and picking up plans, it'll appear eventually...also checking people's vendor
You can buy it at a train stations and also can buy the mod for it at the train stations. If they aren't there just go out and back in. They both are pretty reasonable. That's where i got both
I’m pretty sure graham the super mutant sells the railway rifle plans and the handmade plans, there’s an event going on where he can easily be found near vault 76
Is it worth it to have the science perks equipped when using the Tesla? I dont have legendary specials so perk slots are limited

Don't have a legendary fixer so use the vampire radium rifle stealth. That's my primary weapon. When harder targets or bosses come out to play my anti armour railway rifle comes out to shreck everything.

I need the quad railway bc reloading is horrible but I have a two short rn
Good breakdown of the guns, especially as it covered my build, I’m a stealth commando, so using fixer at the moment, cannot locate the prime receiver or the bloodied mod at the moment as working on a bloodied stealth commando, sadly these would enhance my build, I’ll persevere and keep going in the hope that they present themselves at some point, if anyone has any suggestions on these two, I’m all ears and thanks in advance.
The prime mod is just a combat rifle mod so I'd just browse people's vendors or go to the scorched beast queen...bloodied just luck sadly.

It's a numbers game the more legendaries you kill the better, just checking have u learned the fixer plan? It won't spawn in you legendary pool of random items unless you have. I'd also recommend if you see eviction notice go there and rake the legendaries in.
@@DadPlaysStuff yeah, have the fixer plan, have a decent one the now, just trying to fine tune it, hence wanted the prime auto receiver.

I’m going on 4+ years playing FO76 so take that as context when I say; I don’t like the Fixer anymore. At low level when stealth is important it’s great, but nowadays - as far as personal preference goes - I’d put the Radium Rifle ahead of the Fixer.
That's 100% fair I think how the wep feels to us more important, but in the case if the video I went for the objectively best regardless of my favorite!

Can you not use the railway rifle on a stealth commando build ?
You can ... you just arent going to get the bonuses from the stealth damage since .. well its unsilenced.
If i use this commando build will i have more room in my inventory to loot stuff

I got the railway rifle plan but is there an easy way to get the automatic receiver mod for it?
Try the train station at watoga, or vendor bot phoenix at the watoga shopping plaza, server hop if you need to.
I'm server hopping but the plans don't seem to change at all, maybe they changed that behavior or something@@DadPlaysStuff
only other thing u can try is crafting rifles and scrapping them.
@@salutepeezy keep hopping I was able to pick it up there at watoga station(bot vendor inside)

Vamp Tesla sounds devastating. I have it on a reg flamer and as long as my weapon doesn't break I'll never go down lol
If only energy weapons didn’t use so much AP. Been running a AA 25 while aiming automatic plasma rifle and it melts. Which the 25 while aiming helps when you run out of AP.

Too bad it's generic and boring. I'd rather use something like a Radium Rifle, but it's garbage against bosses.
Love the RR Steam Whistle Sound on reload and the puffs of steam shooting out when idle.

Not sure if it's good but I've been using this double shot/ explosive train rifle that actually makes train noises lol! Found an automatic mod for it from a robot vendor! Kicks like a god damn mule tho!!!
Railways only really use able in auto with vats but two shot explosive is a great combo.
@DadPlaysStuff By chance, do you have the gun smithing plans needed to kit out my train rifle? I'm lvl 73 and been playing for 2 weeks! I have plenty of mats you could use as trade! I've bot been able to find many plans for rifles xD

Imagine right xD ? Im wearing the Raider Skinner Hood, with a Scout mask with the red viper skin and the deep cave hunter for the main body hope that helps, 2 of them are Atomic shop the hood and the Mask but the red viper skin was old scoreboard so ... mabye atom shop?
after deep dive deep searching ... the name is "Deep Cave Hunter" and for the hood is from "skinner" and for the gasmask i believe is recon gasmask for the backpack is the cryptid backpack for anyone else wondering...also great video

Railgun rifle is good, dont get me wrong. Im new to the game and just picked it up after grabbing a decent build. Still needa pick up a few more perk cards. I was honestly hoping something would be better than the railgun rifle, the recoil is absolutely absurd. Its like i NEED Vats for it to actually do something.

I will say I've ended up in an Earl fight or two with lower levels who can't keep the spawn away OR do real damage and I've done significant chunks of Earls health with a tesla. Is it ideal? God no. Could you do it? Absolutely. Good V/50c tesla and you'll pull it off.
100% any weapon will work ... just wont exactly be quick xD

On a different subject, I find Fallout 76 too easy. Water and food is everywhere, ammo almost growns on trees... i wish it had that extra survival aspect...
