Fished the venue numerous times. Alan and Steve have done a fantastic job with the place. Although I preferred it when it wasn't carp dominated😜 still have a great days fishing for the f1s/crusions etc.

No I would have changed to feeding meat if I had decided to fish it on the hook

Probably however Im a create of habit and have learnt to just fish like this
@@TackleguruTV . Get some. I use them all the time and can see so much more in the sunshine/white water. Also I don't get a headache from glare anymore.

Question i have is on these venues andy is famous for fishing maggots shallow and is a bagger on it - what is the decision process for fishing pellets shallow - how does that call get made thats what confuses me as i often find i am on the wrong one
Great question, Its all decided on what fish I think im going to catch, For example I thought I was fishing for lots of 4lb+ Carp so thats why I chose 6mm pellets, however If I was to go back and fish it again I think id choose casters as there are actually alot of smaller 2-3lb carp

Why the ban?
@@wharfeego because people were chucking in tins of the stuff and it was affecting the water quality
That's the trouble when people fish too much processed baits or prawns, mussels they are very rich & put excessive nitrates into the water as they break down, causing alge blooms impacting water quality.
