Be sure to check that the tulips have water - they are super thirsty! What will help your tulips when they start to get a bit droopy is to stick a pin or a toothpick through the throat (at the very top of the stem) of a tulip making a small hole. This releases air that gets trapped in the stem and allows water to be absorbed into the tulip. And often this will help revive your beautiful tulips.
Change the tulip 🌷 water every morning! Makes a massive difference x x

Re tulips , leave them in the wrappers over night after cutting stems, they will stay up xx

I've just discovered your channel today, I like the relaxing calming nature and simplicity. budgeting and frugality is something we all need to be doing especially this year and for many years as it teaches us about choices and how we should live our lives more simply so that we can save and savour all those special memories more as we saved and paid for it all rather than maxing out further debt.
I will binge watch this evening and BTW loving the music so calming aswell.

Hi Kay, I'm playing catch up today and going over some old videos of your's that I missed. I saw on 'love meg's' channel that by adding ice cubes to the water of your fresh flowers really helps prolong their life. Seeing your tulips I wondered if that would help next time xx

Pretty sure I read somewhere that if you piece just under the head the tulip straight through with a pin they will always stand up longer x
Hi Kay, I’m definitely a little and often person when it comes to housework, I try and do a wash load most days too, it won’t necessarily get put away the same day, but it’s a start. I loved how careful you were when you tidied up, so you didn’t disturb your boys, I’m like that with my elderly acquired cat, I only hoover when she’s awake, which is normally only 5am lol love to you, Dom and those gorgeous boys xx🐈🐈❤️💕
It helps so much doing little and often, much less overwhelming 🥰 haha I know right, I never have the heart to wake them up! I’m the same, Rory is terrified of the hoover so I only do it when he’s awake and playful 🙈😂 xx

That pasta bake looked so comforting. I hear you on forgetting to add in a veggie - it happens! I was wondering what you do with your wet clothes after washing them in the winter when you can't use your outdoor clothesline. But I see that you use your radiators - very resourceful! Oh, here's a funny: when Echo meowed in the beginning of the video, I had one of my cats on my lap and she looked up suddenly to see where the meow came from. Lol
Your videos are so cozy. Even when I can't tidy up by myself it gives me a good feeling. 😊

There’s two tricks u need to help your tulips stay up, one is copper coins in bottom of vase and do the 2nd one as well which is get a needle and at the base of the flower in the stem stick it through and take it out. Do same with all the tulips. Mine stayed up for two weeks doing both these tricks. Hope it helps xx
Lovely video Kay. You are so right when you say sometimes you just dont need to push yourself. I do a few jobs a day now and it gets done! I'm going to spend today doing a bit of tidying in the garden, fussing one of my persian cats who has had a lot of tummy problems so he needs some tlc and just taking it easy. Super vlog as always Kay. Thank you. I change the water after a few days and add some bleach and a drop of sugar, gives any flowers a new lease of life, even reduced ones. I am a fan of that too and always end up buying myself flowers!. Gives me so much pleasure. It,s the little things eh. The kitties are gorgeous. I so miss my wee cat but adore watching yours. Dom sounds soooo much like my own partner in terms of feeding himself, lol. Just can't be bothered/forgets/is too engrossed in other things to recognize that he's hungry. In combination, he's got a very high metabolism!
