I always call it “romancing the ordinary”. Taking joy in the little things makes life so much more enjoyable.
Kay I’ve been following you for a while now and so look forward to your videos. You are so warm and welcoming it really makes me feel like I am spending time with a good friend.I admire your positivity and respect your ethical approach to life. You look lovely today.Even though I now 62 I live in floaty skirts and dresses in the summer.Your meals always look lovely and inspire me.Also I enjoy all your content but especially the gardening and cooking. We are lucky to have you,Thank you Kay xx
Homemaking and gardening are the videos I love watching from you the most! The calming way you do it is the exact kind of inspiration I prefer! 🥰🌺
Hi Kay, Yet again another lovely, cosy, warming, peaceful family vlog. Honestly watching your videos is a must do on a Sunday morning. I just get transported into another world watching your vlogs. Your vlogs are something i aspire to. I do hope your dad is feeling much better in him self now and is gaining for more strength. Wowzers anybody eating those bad boy lasagnes would get plenty of strength. They looked absolutely delish and i do hope you all enjoyed them. Have a great new positive week. x
You can buy less mince and use tins of mixed beans ie four bean, kidney, chickpeas etc to extend the meat out. Another is to use vegetable like grated zucchini, carrot, pumpkin or even spinach, silver beet. Another idea is to use fresh pancakes instead of lasagne sheets.
Hello, really enjoy your channel, your cottage is adorable and oh so cozy. The lasagna you made looked amazing. Your ragdoll babies are precious. I have a tabby and she is spoiled but doesn't care to be loved on so much but loves to be close by for the company. She is 13 years old, my husband and I rescued her from the side of the road at four weeks old. I enjoy seeing you daily routine and your garden. Have a blessed day.
The floral skirt you are wearing is lovely and really suits you. Thank you for this relaxing vlog xx
That lasagna looks divine! Agreed - it's very time-consuming to make, but so delicious! Such a nice video - very calming and, being from the U.S., I love your "Britishisms."
That's so nice that you're a fan of Inspired By Nikki's channel. I'm one of her many patrons and she has truly inspired me in many ways. In addition to the two of you, some of other favorites are Kylie Flavell and The Daily Connoisseur (Jennifer L. Scott).
Enjoy your weekend!
Hi, Kay! Suggestion for you: I know you have limited space. Perhaps consider a stackable washer/dryer combo when you remodel your kitchen. Also, did you know you can paint countertops?? A light color would really brighten up your space until you can get them replaced.
Your outfit is adorable!!❤️😊
Thank you for sharing, it is so soothing to watch your clips. I particularly love everything about your precious ragdolls, especially because I am adopting two rehomed ragdoll ladies tomorrow morning. You have helped me prepare for these darlings…. thanks and greetings from Amsterdam….
I love the expression "bits and bobs" 🥰
Cheese sauce is new to me in lasagna. .. yummy!!
We got our dryer from lakeland. Also when you do lasagne, if you put the dishes on a baking tray then it doesn't overflow all over your oven. You can just wipe the trays after.x
I love how you make these homemaking videos. They are so calmfull.
I find that adding shredded carrot and swede is really nice. xx Sometimes we add garden peas into the bolognese too!
The lassanga looks delicious! Yes you did it correctly. Always start with the meat sauce on the bottom. And you reminded me to plan for the week. Thank you. ❤
Such a beautiful video Kay. So lovely evolving with you
Just what I needed today. Another beautiful video 💓
Absolutely I love flowers they have a way of lifting you up its tulips for me and when in season gladiolis as they look so elegant. Not forgetting my homebargains candle x
Thanks Kay for another lovely video ❤
I enjoy your videos inside cooking, cleaning and tidying up as well as outside in the garden. Bless your soul drying your clothes on the radiator, very resourceful when you do not have. I have had to take clothes to a laundromat several times when we lived in apartment setting when my kids were toddlers. Thankful for the washer and dryer set received as an anniversary gift many years ago from my Mom. Your lasagna looked wonderful and the house clean and tidy.
I love your channel. It’s so relaxing to watch x
I just love your home making videos - I love all your videos but these are my favourite ❤ along with anything featuring Rory and Echo of course! You're looking great, and I love your outfit. Xx
Another great video. The lasagne looks amazing.
I really enjoyed this video. Your skirt is beautiful and you look so beautiful and cheery. As a homemaker, I have found when I dress up a bit my mood and the way I tend to the house is so much more pleasant.
Thanks for the tip for the calming video. We are getting 2 ragdolls the end of July.
It's always a pleasure to watch your peaceful vlogs, thank you for your authenticity ! Greetings from an Italian living in France.. :) 💐
It's so exciting to see the notification of your new videos😀...I love your content 🙂👍
So happy to hear that! 🤗

I love your videos!💜
thank you for that lovely video!!?💗💐🥰
Another perfect video. They are so relaxing to watch. Can I ask how you make your peanut sauce or is it shop bought? xx
Lasagna...oh one of my favorites....not had in ages looks delicious 😋...I should have called round...I too love cleaning and making home feel cosy and comfortable...so wished I lived in a cottage though...
I checked out the amazing greens!!! $199. On Amazon, but I am going to look into a substitute! Always enjoy your little visits! 🌸🌸🌸
I was going to comment that this video reminds me of the Inspired by Nikky channel! So fun to hear that was what you were going for.
I love these peaceful homemaking videos. I got some stuff done and it emphasizes that this job is important. Thanks Kay!
Iced unsweetened tea is my favorite way to drink tea. Add a wedge of lemon and it’s the most refreshing drink.
Keeping it real Kay - thank you 💕🇨🇦 your lasagna looked delicious.
I just found your channel. The lasagna looked amazing. Your Ragdoll babies are beautiful.
Would you consider making a video on hygge / cosy living tips? Thank you lovely video x
I got my electric Airer from QVC but you can get various sizes on Lakeland and Amazon. I didn't bother getting the cover as the reviews weren't great instead I put quilt cover or sheet over the top instead. Hope that helps. Love your skirt, I have a similar blue one from M&S that I rarely wear, I must look it out. - Frances ❤
I love your fitbit strap! Where did you get it? I just got a fitbit versa 3 and hunting for new straps. Love your channel so much btw! :)
Thanks for sharing 👍 😊
Lakeland one is super and folds flat. Works for me x
As others have also recommend the heated drier from Lakeland is brilliant
Perfect timing! Just got in a bubble bath 🛀
Ahh, amazing 🥰 enjoy! x
is dom working again now outside of the home? I have the Mrs hinch book as well, its so useful, your skin is glowing, love your videos x
Love how much work you put in so many videos a week! That lasagna looked amazing! One question - where is that long oven mitt from? It looks really handy (at 29:14)! Thanks!
Question. Can you post a link to your oven mitt? I love double ended mitts and they are hard to find in the US. 💚💚💚
I really enjoy your videos!
Hi Kaye.
I tried to open the link you had on your last video for the chicken curry but couldn't get it open. I'd love to try it cos it looked delicious. Any chance you could stick down the ingredients. Thanks
What spray do you use for freshening the living room, Kay?
Hi Kay, I loved your homemaking video, I find watching your channel to be very relaxing and I do like you in a skirt and top, I wear skirts all the time even in the winter . I also watch inspired by nikki too. Thank you for a wonderful video Kay. Cheers from Australia.😊
Lakeland do a great heated clothes dryer that comes with a cover and is cheap to run.
I also LOVE inspired by Nikki, she is such a beautiful and inspiring women 😍
Lovely recipe.😋I love your striped apron too.🥰
How do you make your peanut sauce?
Do you have a problem with the cats chewing on the fresh flowers. I’m always afraid my will eat them and get sick. I just found your channel recently and really enjoy them. I’m going back to the previous videos to see the garden transformation.
Your home and your outfit are all lovely, and so are you. I have two teenage boys, and it would be a dream come true for me to have a daughter-in-law like you someday. =) Another CZcams channel I would highly recommend is TheCottage Fairy.
Love your skirt Kay. Where did you buy it ? Tanya
My electric heated airer is from Lakeland worth looking there.X
Did you buy it online or I store? I’m after a good one for wintertime I noticed it has good recommendations, what is the price range if you don’t mind me asking please ? x
@@marylynsheldon8389 yes I bought it online they range from around £120 upwards, expensive but definitely worth it I use mine all winter and then in the summer just as a regular airer .
Lasagne = mince, pasta, white sauce repeat xx
If Athletic Greens are that good it should be prescribed on the NHS😀
Those sarnies you made for Dom made me so hungry 🤤
Lasagna looked delicious the recipe is so so different than American lasagna.
It's so rich and delicious, you have to give it a go! 🥰
I love Inspired by Nikki
Where’s your skirt from?
I recently bought a long skirt from Sainsbury’s because I’m trying to wear different outfits as I always wear the same jeans,T-shirt and a sweatshirt!
Love your videos so much Kay your Amazing and so beautiful love you from Kerrie 😘
Thank you my lovely 🥰💗💗
Hi Kay I’ve been watching “Inspire by Nikki” since the beginning! her hubby George does a few occasional videos as well he’s a very funny & caring guy and works hard for his family her channel is amazing and she has a beautiful family and home so glad you found her channel. You are both great inspirational CZcamsrs I love ❤️ you both . Yes your skin is glowing I am vitamin D deficient as I have an autoimmune disease so I will check out the link thanks x
Great video, your lasagne looked great! However, I really wish that your videos weren’t so brand heavy x
I’ve done less than 3 brand sponsorships in the last 6 months. I’m glad you enjoyed my video, members of my channel get a version of the videos without the sponsored content 🙂 x
Oh wow that lasagna
I drink my tea cold
Did I read that right, 79 pound per month.... I must of clicked on the link and read it wrong, otherwise that would be really expensive, with everything going up, I don't think many people could afford to spend that amount on just a drink, I know it is super healthy but wow expensive
I would love to put out flowers but our three cats are naughty and try to eat them. Which then leads to the vase tipping over. Bummer.
I have 3 cats also but mine don’t bother the flowers 🌸 I guess I just got lucky , I put pebbles in bottom of vase though to weigh it down abit just incase x
Can cats have anxiety? Genuine question. X
Definitely! Just like humans 💗
@@Livingthelifeyoulove Would it be related to the owners anxiety or just q general thing. I never knew this. It's good to know that cats enjoy relaxing music and that it helps.
I guess when you think about it cats have all kinds of emotions :) I'm spending time learning about this before getting one you see. Your cats are beautiful x
I have 3 cats and one is very anxious and nervous she was a rescue cat before we got her and I think she has suffered it’s her personality trait now all we can do is reassure her and be calm , kind & patient with her. Cats also can get stressed and depressed x
@@marylynsheldon8389 Aww, bless 🙌 I'm glad she has a loving safe home with you 💜
Recalling how much housework you had waiting for you when you got home from caring for your father and now seeing your cleaning lists, you and Dom have chosen very traditional roles in that the woman is responsible for all housework. Why?
I wouldn’t call it traditional….some women work cook clean take care of the kids and keep it moving! I think Kay likes tending to her home and garden. She likes spending time with Rory and Echo and cooking her favorite recipes! She seems content now so I hope all is well!
What is dom work you have said that he is gone to work
I can't imagine not having a dryer or dishwasher. That would waste so much of my time.
All she needs to do is change the doors in her kitchen rather than buy a new kitchen. It's cheaper.
The kitchen is impractical, the cupboards one one side are far too small and leave so much wasted space above. The sink is also to one side rather than in the middle which isn’t ideal. I’ve thought a lot about what we can do to improve it but I don’t want to waste money on something that seems like a waste of time 🙈
@@Livingthelifeyoulove it's a nice kitchen maybe paint the doors then? It's a difficult one because kitchens are expensive. I just changed my doors on a budget, and it looks lovely.
If she can afford to buy a new kitchen then she can buy a new kitchen! Kay is the one that’s cooking in it and it should be functional for her needs! Cheap isn’t always better, it’s better to spend the money on a quality kitchen of your dreams than settling for something that’s broken down and cheap🙄it’s all about doing things to make yourself content happy with peace of mind!
79 pounds? People are struggling right now. You're not a doctor or a nutritionist should you really be recommending this to people. If I were to pay that much for a green powder I would buy one which uses completely organic sources, as this company does not I may as well go buy some cheap toxic veg from the supermarket. As for your stomach health, your bowels need actual real fruit and veg as they cannot work properly without the fibre from wholefoods. Vitamin D is extremely toxic if you take too much, it's natural source, ie sunlight stores in the body, unless you are about 90 and never go out, you should always go to the doctor first before taking any vitamin D or iron supplement.
Are you a doctor or a nutritionist?
