A simple step by step tutorial on how to use a hydrometer to test your beer or spirit fermentation. Take all the guess work out of brewing and understand exactly how the hydrometer works. You will never bottle early again or have to ring a brew shop to ask questions like " my airlock has stopped bubbling and it has only been 3 days, can I bottle my beer?" Matt from Australian Home Brewing has got every aspect of the hydrometer covered. cheers Brewers
Thank you for your help, you have inspired me to make videos for beginners
Helped me work it out thanks buddy
hi great video... how do you know if has lots sugar?I'm very new on this... I hade made my wine, but its not fermented, I can feel some alcohol but the alcoholmeter do not show any sign of alcohol.... i just bought this wine hydrometer.. so maybe has lots sugar? thanks you
Hi there. I’m still a bit confused by the hydrometer. I’m a first time user so I didn’t test my sugar wash at the start of fermentation, rookie move I know. It’s been 5 days now (turbo yeast) and my hydrometer is sitting at 90 just above 1.000.....I need to wait until it’s 1.6 until it’s ready correct??? Or when the yeast stops bubbling?
Amzing
viscosity does not equal density
Why are you repeating what you've already said??
that was a terrible video
