The One Word Muslims Fear Above All Others

  • We are sometimes told that one shouldn't raise sensitive topics to a Muslim audience, that doing so will scare people away before the conversation starts. That simply isn't true, but I have found there is one word that does strike fear into the heart and end conversations quickly. I look at why that is, referencing both fiqh and Quran, and revealing the small god of Islam. This is then contrasted with what Christianity teaches to reveal a bigger, better picture of God.

Allah will not leave a dwelling in a city or a desert except that He will make this religion enter it, thus, honoring the honorable or humiliating the humiliated; an honor which Allah will bestow on Islam, and a humiliation which Allah will inflict on disbelief." Tamīm Ad-Dāri used to say: "I saw this in members of my family: those of them who embraced Islam enjoyed good, honor, and a high standing; and the disbelievers among them were subject to humiliation, disgrace, and the payment of Jizyah

This struck a chord with me straight away. If Islam is true then any Muslim should be ready to defend it. if they get challenged. If they don't know the answer off the top of their head, then they are free to go and do further research and come back to us and put us straight. We Christians are always prepared to do as much and in fact we are instructed to do as much by Peter "But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. There are two types of " truth" (or "truths") relative and absolute.
A " relative truth is one which relates to one's culture/ upbringing or religion.
    It "relates" to us.
"Absolute truth" when discovered, understood and appropriated is ONE.
Jesus Himself said He was THE WAY, THE TRUTH and THE Life.
Christianity is s religion (Jesus did not create christianity). He was Christ Himself. There's beauty, simplicity and elegance to follow One who loved us to give his Life that way the THRICE HOLY HOLY HOLY God s RIGHTEOUS conditions are met. Jesus fulfilled these by His DEATH and RESURECTION.
    Why complicate things?
Childlike faith is the criterion. (see Mathew chapter 18 1-3, Jesus invites you Mathew chapter 1:28-29).

I figured you'd be good to answer my question, so here it goes:
Is the Bible against rock/metal music? If so, what verse?
I'm conflicted on this since I've never seen hard proof, but I've seen a lot of people say it. (No verses aside from Ephesians 4 have been mentioned, but Ephesians 4 mentions "Hymns, Psalms, and Spiritual songs", the former two are sang by people in the Bible, and the latter means a song in which the writing is led by the Holy Spirit)
I've only heard opinion on the matter, (Barring the Ephesians 4 but that got debunked by a simple reading and understanding) but I don't want opinion, I want scripture and Biblical truth.
If I wind up with the answer "Rock/Metal is bad, here's the verse and explanation" I'll accept that since I'm fine with letting go of my listening to bands like Nine Lashes, Skillet, TFK, etc.

John 3:13 (Jesus said)No one ascended into heaven. but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which was from the heaven.
Why do we grow old and die?
GOD did not want humans to die. Our first parents, Adam and Eve, were created with a perfect mind and body. They could still be alive today. This is clear from what God said to Adam about a tree growing in the garden of Eden.
God said to Adam:“The day you eat [from the tree] you will surely die.” Genesis 2:17. This command would have been meaningless if Adam had been created to grow old and die. Adam knew that if he did not eat from that tree, he would not die.
GOD'S PURPOSE WAS NOT THAT PEOPLE DIE.
God said to Adam:"Eat your bread with the sweat of your brow until you return to the ground from where you were taken.for you were dust and you will become dust. ”
    Genesis 3: 17-19
As a result,“all the days of Adam's life were nine hundred and thirty years and he died.”Genesis 5: 5. Adam did not go to heaven or hell.Or live in a spiritual realm.
    What is the Resurrection?
    The Bible's answer
In the Bible, the Greek word translated "resurrection" means "to stand" or "to restore." The resurrected person is resurrected from the dead and is the same person who was before. 1 Corinthians 15:12, 13.
It is true that the word "resurrection" is not found in the Hebrew Scriptures, which are known as the Old Testament, but the promise of resurrection is there. For example, through the prophet Hosea,God promised:“I will rescue them from the hand of the grave, and I will rescue them from death.” Hosea 13:14; Job 14: 13-15; Isaiah 26:19; Daniel 12: 2, 13.
Where will people be resurrected? Some people will be resurrected to live in heaven. There they will reign with Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 5: 1; Revelation 5: 9, 10.The Bible calls this resurrection "the first resurrection" and the word "first" makes it clear that there will be another resurrection. Revelation 20: 6 That other resurrection will be for the living on paradise earth, and most of the dead will be resurrected in this way.
    Psalm 37:29.
How are the dead raised?God gave Jesus the power to resurrect the dead. John 11:25. Jesus will bring to life “all those in the memorial tombs,” each with his own personality, attributes, and memories.
    John 5:28, 29.
Some will be resurrected to live in heaven, while others will be resurrected to live on paradise earth with perfect and healthy bodies. Isaiah 33:24; 35: 5, 6. 1 Corinthians 15: 42-44, 50
They multiply priests and saints with sad faces pile up, perform miracles, cast out demons. But Jesus said,The tree is known by its fruit.
    MATTHEW
    7: 21-23:
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.22 Many will say to me in that day,'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and did many miracles in your name?'23 Then i will tell them plainly that I did not know you at all.Get away from me, you workers of iniquity.
    Matthew 7: 15-20
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 By their fruits ye shall know them.Do they gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles?17 So every good tree bringeth forth good fruit;and an evil tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.20 Ye shall know them by their fruits.
    B.LETTER TO CORINTHIANS
    11: 13-15:
13 For such are the apostles, liars, deceitful workers, impersonating the apostles of Christ.14 And it is not surprising. because Satan also takes the form of a bright angel.15 Wherefore, it is not a great thing that his ministers should be likened unto the ministers of righteousness. Their end will be in proportion to their deeds.
4: 4. In whom is the god of this world.
(Satan) blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the light of the glory of the gospel of Christ might not shine upon them, which is the image of God.

@@misterauctor7353 Anyone can make any claim. :) "Defiled" is μολύνω which usually refers to ritual impurity/uncleanliness. Ritual cleanliness has approximately nothing to do with what we call cleanliness, so associating the verse with "dirt" is the first clue Osama has no idea what he is talking about.
The 144,000 most likely symbolically represent the whole church, which makes the idea this has anything to do with literal abstinence laughable. "Virgin" (παρθένος) is often used in non-sexual, spiritual terms in early Christian literature and that seems to be the meaning here. (Note: the literal meaning is normally only applied to women, yet the group in the text is unquestionable masculine [or mixed gender].) "Women" (γυνή) then refers to Babylon, i.e. pagan religions, drawing upon the imagery of the OT of Israel of God's bride and the NT of the Church as Christ's bride. (Spiritually unfaithful Israel is also describe as a prostitute.) The picture painted is a Church that has remained faithful to Christ, it has nothing to do with sexuality or the female gender. Osama has tried to interpret a highly symbolic, highly spiritual text as a literal moral teaching on sexuality and fallen flat on his face as a result.

That question is far too vague to answer accurately. Most "contradictions" are resolved simply by reading the text (people who compile these things are interested in making the number as large as possible and so put ridiculously stupid things no one would ever consider a contradiction in another context on the list o inflate the number). The few remaining have been known for centuries and all have explanations. But even if there was a real contradiction, that wouldn't really undermine Christianity. We do not believe the Bible to be the literal speech of God, and so there is no fatal problem if an author made a mistake on some insignificant detail.
