- For iPhone 12 and later series after iOS upgrade to version 14.4, either original or third-party rear camera replacement parts.
The “Important Camera Message” and “Unknown Part” alert will appear after the replacement. In this video, REWA Lab is introducing the latest solution on the market for removing the "unknown part" notification message after replacing the rear camera, which we use JC programmer and rear camera flex to solve the problem.

Good job 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 is good to see that, little by little, the "important message" issue when repairing iPhones is being solved by third party solutions 💪🏼
Its interesting to see how repair companies like Rewa are almost in a sort of repairability arms race with Apple. They come up with a way to fix things and Apple comes up with a way to make it harder. I expect at some point iPhones will self-destruct after a year of use
Old Apple devices have already done that, (at least iPads) would magically self fill with some ghost files that would make them unusable without iCloud.

We usually tell the customers about the "unknown parts" error issue when replacing the camera, lcd screen, battery or camera. And a lot of times the customers don't really care about it, but once awhile you get a customer that is annoyed by it. We let them know that it doesn't affect the performance of the phone.

@@Mc-ss3wb unfortunately no, I eventually realized that my ultrawide camera was the one that was faulty. When I try to switch to it, it quickly switches to the next lens. I’m weighing the option of replacing the camera module or just selling the phone the phone as is. But I’ve been able to manage without the ultrawide so far.
So you need MEDIUM paste solder ?
Yes, medium temperature solder paste is recommended. Low temperature solder paste will not be strong while high temperature solder paste may damage the components.

When will this work for iPhone 13 Pro?
The solution currently only supports iPhone 11 to 13.
REWA will continue to follow the solution for iPhone 13 later models and will share it in the future when appropriate.

No, the new flex should be wrote in data as the original to solve the "unknown part" message
No because its nearly impossible to solder the OEM Flex Cable pins. Unlike the soldering friendly aftermarket JC flex.
And beyond that not everytime you have access to the old one

Hi. The QR code must be scanned with WeChat since we use JC data. You can download WeChat from many app stores.

By the way, I didn't really get why is it needed to change the cable? Original one doens't let the programmer reading some shi* out of the camera?
As you can see the video 1:30, the original cable data cannot be read, in this case we need to use a tag-on cable.

One of these days Apple won’t let you sell your phone if you wants. “Unknown owner”.. that makes not sense from Apple not letting owners to replace their own phone parts if needed.. also most of times the won’t accept your warranty for stup!d things.. “sorry but we can’t validate your warranty because you made a phone call or sent a message”
