- Unfortunately I was unable to actually get a kill because of people ragging my lobbies and in CORP private instances you can't drop food. Which makes the solo low stat drain Wiki set-up impossible. You could do this with 300 dropped food with no private instance and hopefully not get ragged, but it's not worth it by any means. This Wiki suggestion for price range is horrendous. Even for an ironman this just isn't possible or even worth it. Corp already isn't really worth it for low level ironmen or "budget" ironmen.
This was one of the hardest challenges I've done and time consuming. Kills would be easily 20m-30m+ and cost a lot in supply costs. Even just defense draining him was tedious Solo in crappy budget gear. There are probably better methods but I am not a knower or do Corp anymore after getting the CAs.

There’s a bit to unpack here, of course.
• The Gear guides aren’t meant to be used this way. Upgrades and downgrades along the way would help you fare a lot more. The reasons you might not have an upgrade, or want to use that upgrade, can be for restricted account types, wanting to save charges, etc.
• Instructions say to spec it down before switching into the gear.
• Gear is listed under solo AND *duo* gear setup so is likely a fallback for a team of two people, leaving it up to your educated discretion on whether it should be used for solos.
• Wiki says to drop food 6 tiles away from entrance to handle corp creep
• Kiting Corp more aggressively reduces the damage from his mage attacks

I think this one is outside of my scope because of diamond bolts being a downgrade, this turns zuk into 8 mins raw ttk (from about 4) before set spawns/heals so around 15 mins
Unironically, karambwams are better cause they have less attack delay on your next attack after eating.
I've got thousands of Corp KC and I'll say, if you have a 3 man group, you can No-prep kill Corp with only d'hide and fang. Fang is so strong at Corp.
Yeah we duo with fang/karils, 3 combined dwh for fast kills

I should start fixing guides because the nex guide on wiki is almost perfect after us sweats updated it (It used to recommend bowfa lol)
The Nex one recommends range camping even though it states melee is "slightly" better. It's over 50% better...LOL Definitely still needs work
@@GnomonkeyRS It's still one of the most common strategies so I think it's still worth recommending. It's also just an easier gear setup for players who aren't that good at huge switches or don't have access to the best gear and have to use something like a dcb.
Also with melee it's a lot harder to get max dps since it's not a ranged weapon and you have to run around a lot.
You don't have to run around a lot and even in Karils and using fang it's still better to melee the boss than range. I've done all the calcs multiple times on stream to counter this misconception. Easier argument, fine, but recommending something as "The best" when it's clearly not, is purposely misinforming.
@@GnomonkeyRS Weren't kandarin hards bugged for like years without people noticing? Tbh I'm open to updating the wiki to clarify that zcb is a lot worse dps but not everyone is willing to do tons of switches and take less brews for what's honestly a mid level boss.

the only sus thing i've noticed with gearscape is that it dosnt seem to take into account recoil/suffering dps. id assume that if its recomending you a ring that only gives accuracy on a boss where you take damage you should be always be wearing a recoil/suffering instead???
In most of cases accuracy is better than the recoil damage. Especially with weapons like Scythe. Lot of bosses are also immune to recoil (like Nex).

The wiki is dumb but fewer stat drains is more kph than deathpiling or doing the full spec drains, just that you eat a lot of food because you are tping out to pool and going back. You need to melee with a fang though.

That should be doable ye. You'll take way more damage though.
@@XxSupaBAMxX Even though blood moon (chestplate + tassets) give +6 strength (2 max hits), masori still seems better for solo just because of higher magic def. I definitely noticed corp hitting me more often with blood moon, and kept having to eat more often. Blood moon is probably the play for 2-3+ people though.
the wiki page for gear is pretty bad there are very budget option but they are not even losted there, so ppl with no idea about gearing fall for the trap.

Your approach to giving critique is counterproductive. You're basically bashing the wiki. If you want those setups to improve, you could instead suggest improvements for the slots that are now incorrect in your view.
I do by showing a second kill every video in gear with same budget.

is this dude being intentional on this? it legit says (Most effective -> least effective), literally no soul will bring fang spec over arclight spec or fero gloves over barrows it's just exposing a non-issue
Yeah I was thinking the same thing, it's just automated based on what stat should be highest. For example highest stab accuracy weapon would go from fang -> rapier -> some other stab weapons etc etc until the worst. It's not that you should use it it's just saying what is the next in line performance wise. Idrk whats wrong with this guy. Maybe he needs a loving family life.
