I was a little uncertain about the Superman but the Bizarro and Lex (as well as the Batman Beyond) are a must.
This looks great despite all the issues. The panel lines on the back of his neck are funny. Mattel cracks me up - the way everything is mass produced. They really are a toy line and not a collectible company. We (the collectors) are really the ones who make figures like this a "collectible".
Love the added cape paint around the collar to give it that connected illusion. I'm also a big fan of the cartoony stylized design and it really works with this character. As mentioned before, it would be nice to have a classic Superman in this line. Thanks for giving us a preview of the Bizarro.

Thanks Richard!! Yeah it's SO apparent with lines like that Mattel is purely a toy company....it's almost like a jigsaw puzzle with their figures. This chest, with those legs, that cape and 'maybe' a new head sculpt thrown in. Whilst I'm really happy with the end result in this case it's like night and day to the work that Tim Bruckner and Phil Ramirez do/did for DC Collectibles. Hand sculpted, reviewed, tweaked and then submitted for mass production. The comic style of the Bizarro and Superman figures really appeal to me....like Jamie mentioned before, Bizarro really reminds me of his look in the JLA Trapped in Time animated movie. Glad you like the little tweaks to the beginning and end credits Richard, i just felt like freshening everything up a little. I'd still love to have the exact same titles as Superman the movie (the flying blue credits through space) but sadly the app I use just doesn't support that! lol. 10X better than the Supes with the Total Heroes. Bizarro sells me automatically! Love the "S" and high MoS-like collar. A buy for me!

He should be out in a month or so, I'm hoping they keep making characters that I can pickup in this style....They're not the best figures in the world but I just love the style of them. Great showcase Stewart! He looks amazing. I can't wait to get this guy in hand. I think I'm going to pick up two of these and another Superman and do some switching around and repainting so I can have a classic Superman look and a new 52 looking Bizarro. Great video as always my friend

Thanks for watching Lionel, yeah the head and hand sculpts on this figure really did blow me away. So detailed and a nice counterpoint to the Superman figure. Hopefully we get plenty more Superman related figures, I'll hopefully get them all. Thanks for the comment buddy
I have been buying every figure in this line and I am amazingly pleased. In hand they feel like a nice hunk of plastic. The joints are tight and I too enjoy the stylized look.
I am amazingly excited about the SDCC exclusive Cyborg figure and have the Bizarro figure preordered. This review just makes me even more excited about having the figure in hand.

Thanks Esteban, it's great to hear that you've been supporting this line. Yeah it's a budget line and they're re-using body bucks etc but I'm really loving the figures in hand. As you said, they're solid and well made and the joints are all really tight with little or no QC. I can't wait to get the Lex Luthor in armour figure and yeah the Cyborg figure looks pretty cool too. Nice review Stew he is definitely the strongest out of this line so far. I like how they kept the traditional Bizarreo look and not done the New 52 T shirt look. He reminds me of the look from JLA trapped time movie. I must admit he has a pretty good face sculpt and those hans are great. Even for a budget figure it certainly captures the characteristics of the Bizarreo we all know and love. I like the new set up with the black turn stand really makes the colours pop on this guy. You are totally right as well about getting him into some great poses you really showcased him will with some pretty cool dynamic posing. Great review Stew so glad to see you back buddy. If I do see him about I will probably have to get him I really need to expand my Superman collection with some villains as well. Epic as always Stew great job!!!
Thanks Jamie!! I was thinking the exact same thing about the JLA Trapped in Time likeness but totally forgot to mention it in my review!!! lol. He does have that classic appearance and he fits in perfectly with the rest of my Bizarro detolf shelf :-)

I'm really looking forward to this hitting shelves. I haven't picked up the Superman figure yet, but I might just do so if only to have him stand next to this figure.
You should definitely pickup the Superman and Bizarro from the line if you can. I've STILL not reviewed the Superman figure yet even though i got him from China months before he went on general release too!! I've got an official release in package so i might cover it soon. I don't think the total heroes line is that bad either. I have the superman and Batman figures. Their not good enough for me to continue to buy the entire line but I had to get my two favorites. This bizarro is really cool. Nice review Stew!
Yeah I agree that I would never collect the entire Total Heroes line Chris. Hopefully if they keep making Superman related figures though I'll probably get all of them! I really like that, if they'd have simply done a detailed paint job on the face it would make the figure look even better
Yeah I agree that better paint apps would elevate this line but since it's a budget line from mattel there's little chance of that lol. I'm really glad to own this guy regardless, still a really cool sculpt

LOL he does have that kind of Ceaser style hairdo huh?? It's actually a really cool little figure, I think everyone had written off this line but if they keep producing unique head sculpts and good paint apps like this I'll be buying more. Thanks again Greg, glad you liked it

Yeah I'm a fan of pretty much all things superhero. I used to collect Marvel as well as DC back in the day but decided to just focus on my favourite lol.
