Hello Christian! I want to tell you a big thiks. You are a very positive person and I feel that you really like peopel and want to help learning English. With you this process became very intresting. Sorry for my bad English.
I have no words to thank you. I can understand you perfectly. All your classes are very well produced and the knowledge that you give us is priceless.
How I increased my vocabularies: I watched "Soap Opera" a lot in the beginning. Then I started to read books. Any word that I didn't understand, I would write down on a piece of paper, then wrote how to pronounce it in Japanese, and then I would write down the Japanese translation. I would post it on the refrigerator, and I say the word out loud each time I open the refrigerator door. Then I would use the word in a sentence when I am having conversations with my husband or friends. Once I have done that, I would discard the piece of paper.
Christian, you are a genius, an excellent teacher.

Norman Lewis and Wilfred Funk wrote amazing books on etymology which have changed my life. Etymological approach is ONE of the best way of learning and expanding your vocabulary.
I didn't get learning and teaching English serious until I studied MA of Tesol at University. It also never crossed my mind that I would be a fluent speaker. However, the more I immerse myself in the beauty of this language, the more sense of language I have. I love your videos and I've watched most of them in the hope that I'll take away some handy tips and approaches to help my learners achieve their learning goals. I am so happy to find your lessons! Your method is completely different than most of the ones found on youtube, but it affects naturally, very personally and it is unusually well thought out.
